It might work, but I know for a fact that high velocity HPS and #6 shOT also work well. I did feel a bit ashamed that since I had let them live and hatch out 10 kittens I then felt obligated to feed, care for and find homes for the dang things, two of them are still here, and a 3rd died a couple weeks ago. All I could think of was, well there was a $100 plus vet bill for spaying and shots wasted.

Stray and feral cats are nothing more than a job that needs to be taken care of. Let 2 live last spring because I couldn't get rifle up to shoulder, BOTH had litters of kittens. 10 total. Not happening again.

I am same, reload for all but shotgun. Fortunately I have enough components and shotgun shells. Ammo and firearms are coming back in stock. I have sold off most of my hard kickers in deference to my junkyard shoulder, but really didn't have trouble finding what new stuff I wanted, just had to look around a bit and be patient.

Properly installed oak is a great wood. Needs to have olety of ventilation or it will rot, but any wood is that way. Having spent way too many hurs working in old oak framed houses the biggest pain was the fact that the old oak studs and new 2x4s are not the same size., requiring extra work, and of course the extra work of drilling through them to put in screws. Green oak is a different critter, it will shrink and leave some big gaps.

Wife gone so again my choice. Tonight cajun grilled shrimp, zucchini grilled, and some spicy cajun & cheese grits. Didn't get my proportions right on the grits so they are a bit loose, but dang good flavor.

Switch to braid. Need advice

Hmm I will look for a pair of Cudas, the Rapala one I bought years ago were absolutely useless on braid. Sharp utility knife is what I have been using. -
If they are like they were last fall, there will be plenty still around.

Made up a couple of 3/4 pound burgers, some filled onions and I nuked a tater, thenjoy smashed it flat so I could get some crispy on it. Tater didn't work out as well as I had hoped, but burger and onions were delicious.

Got some fresh peaches and talkedmy wife into a peach pie. Not the traditional type though. I asked for graham cracker crust and she made the whipped cream (real stuff) to top it. Hot cup of coffee and a big slice of it. Life is good. Blood sugar tonight can kiss my butt.

I love meatloaf, about as good cold as warm to me. I nearly always make a sammich out of it and my wife makes a dang good one too. Pretry sure she never has a recipe but good all the same.

This topic made me hungry. Was in the city yesterday so we decoded to have sushi for lunch. My problem is I could eat enough sushi that I would need to pay for it in installments.

Used to wander into those schools on Truman occasionally. Like you said quarter mile of surfacing fish that hit anything that moved, with an occasional hybrid in the mix. Good times!!

Vaccines don't prevent you from getting any disease. That would be news worthy I would think. Polio, smalllox, mumps, measles, whooping cough???

I have a cheap 5/6 wt fly rod that lives for bluegill. Delicious, quick fillet, and that little bit of fish hits the hot oil, and is basically done.

I have eaten a lot of fish eggs, battered and fried and or boiled in crab boil.

Flathead belly meat I would try. But the crappie had very little flavor except for the slap ya mamma on it.

I love sushi. I will also admit to having had some freshwater sushi. Thun slices of crappie with a sprinkle of Slap Yo Mama on it, was during a fish fry, a dare and Alcahol were both involved. But it wasn't that bad.

Young black bears are showing up on game and trail cams, in back yards etc in a lot of places. YouNG bears are out looking for their forever homes.

I remember when I was younger and my feet were just the things at the end of my legs. Buy whatever shoes or boots would fit and walk and work where ever with no thoughts about my feet what so ever. I wish I had some of those days back. I will be one of those who says crocs arw OK for some things but for a water or fishing shoe they suck.
