Their "Public Feedback" is a joke...They do what they want. Not really the fault of the rank and file, the leadership must suck.

14 misses and a limit....is pretty good for most. Less than 2 boxes of shells. Have been spotting more doves in town. No teal, just local bread eating ducks...Bunch of juvie ducks and geese this year. The geese hatched a bunch, they are fledged and gone. Mallards did two broods mostly....

Headed to a friends farm in KS next weekend. Plan to do some shooting. If no birds in the area will have to fish the the lake on the property border (300 acres). Has some hybrid striped bass and walleye in it, but usually just catch largemouth.

Carnitas tonight. Homemade guacamole, lime pickled red onion, charred pineapple. Was good! Did the meat in the instapot then tossed under the broiler.

Very nice! One of the few places on earth were you can do that. THAT, plus a walleye and a smallmouth is your next challenge.😉

The kvd hooks are fine and you can pick up at Walmart. Always replace the ring if changing a hook. -

Crappie do well in Unger. Don’t know why but would never eat any of them. Tons of mercury and heavy metals in the L Meramec. -
Did not cook tonight. Wudon Korean BBQ in West StL makes some great food! First visit, did not know that you need a reservation for a table with a built in BBQ pit. 45 wait for that, sat at a flat top, kitchen cooked, all good stuff!

Dry run creek for the kids, or rent a pontoon boat and tube on the lake.

Think most want to drink and party. Some might spend to buy boats that would hit 80mph. Others might spend to break 100, or 150. Small stupid pecker contest IMO, their wife’s are hoping that they die in they shootout so the can screw their BF’s more often IMO.

200 mph in a boat is nuts. When I was growing up, they used to have the St. Louis Grand Prix Boat Race on the lower Meramec at George Winter Park. I could hear them from my house 5 miles away. My dad took me a couple of times....It was insane.

Oral surgeons do pretty well. Talked to one last week who was buying a turbine engine helicopter to fly to his lake house.

We can fish that frog water CW....that is what the paddle jon is made for. 20-25 miles overnight, no problem! Sip a beer and toss your buzzbait! -

The Simms large will fit my size 12 foot with room to spare. Ask Tom, Craig, or Eric at Hargrove's Fly Shop and they will do their best for you. They sell allot of Simms...Will fix/return for warranty broken rods, and patch waders up too if need be. -

I can probably get access at Goode's Mill on the BB....A friends family owns it. Its the only spot worth fishing on that entire stretch IMO. Good spring and fall only. Always fun to hit some new water....but....usually go to same same. -
No...have not shot it yet, picked it up yesterday...Headed to a friends farm/lake property in KS over labor day. Will give it a workout then to break in. Might shoot some doves if any are around. Expensive in KS though...No short term hunting permits.

Have been wearing Simms gore-tex on winter floats/ fishing trips for 25 years. Why cut corners on comfort? The cheap ones do not last as long. -

That is impressive...Have completed a few small streams, but none of the long rivers. Have the Big Piney almost complete, but still gotta do the FLW section. -

Bum knees suck. My dad had both of his replaced. Would be up for a trip. Kip wants to float the Current soon, not sure if I'll make it. Headed to a friends farm/lake property near Topeka/Wichita over Labor Day, then Montauk for Thanksgiving.
