They are cold beaches, especially this time of year.

The reason why it looks like those would be confusing is those two quotes were taken out of context. Put the whole context in there and it would all make sense. The media only lets people read what they want you to read to meet their agenda.

These videos show why masks during this pandemic are important to protect others from someone who may be asymptomatic and may not know they are infected with the COVID19.

Lionel Messi's contract amount was just leaked recently. 4 years worth approximately $674million. That's more annually than Lebron, Brady, Mahomes, and Mike Trout make in a year combined. The guy better be good at fubol.

KVD was a Quantum guy forever. Now he’s Lews. Maybe he wanted his Quantum stuff back. -
Heck, just find a tree on the bank somewhere that is remote and where no one will find it.

With the lake I'm guessing there are a lot more factors that go into it besides dew point. Maybe the lake changed the temperature of the air over the water just enough to alter whether or not fog would form. It also has to do with whether or not there's any wind. If it's windy it's more than likely not going to be foggy.

Yep. It's pretty much the opposite to what happens in the fall and winter. Warm moist air that holds a ton of water vapor gets condensed by the cold air above the water in the river and turns it into fog.

I’m not a weatherman but these guys are https://www.wiscnews.com/weather/ask-the-weather-guys-why-does-fog-form-over-the-lake/article_e2151684-2e46-5aa2-9667-349d4a113776.html Basically the lake is warmer than the air and the water is evaporating. The cool air condenses the water droplets to make the fog.

S.O.T. Kayak Recommendations

Bassmaster#1 on here has a FeelFree Lure and he loves it. He doesn’t use the wheel for much and it’s pretty much useless unless you are on concrete or hard ground. Just kind of drags through sand and gravel. It’s a big boy of a kayak though and is super heavy. Easy to stand in though. -

All sit on tops have scupper holes. Never had a rock or stick get stuck in one. And the one that has a cutout on mine where I have my transducer mounted in has never given me any problems with it hitting anything. -

A few weeks ago I was over on Bass Resource and a topic about fly fishing came up and the guy that started the thread wanted to know who fly fished and if they fly fished for species other than trout. I put my 2 cents in and said I've only ever fly fished for trout but sometime when I have more time on my hands I wouldn't mind giving fly fishing for bass a try. The farm pond I fish in would work great for fly fishing, there are decent sized bass in it, and there aren't many trees around it that would get in the way of casting. I also have a nice St. Croix 7wt rod my mom left me when she passed away that would probably work ok for larger flies. Well, a couple days later I get a message from the guy asking if I would give him my address and he would send me a few bass and pan fish flies to try out that he tied. He said he was a retired, disabled veteran from Montana and he has a lot of time on his hands in the winter time and that's what he does to make that clock hands move. So I gave him my info and asked if I could pay for shipping and he declined that offer. He said he would send me a couple flies to try and they would get to me in a couple weeks since their USPS service up there still uses horses (*sic*). Today I got a small box in the mail and when I opened it there were two fly boxes in it full of what is below. Way beyond what I was expecting. I guess there are still some really awesome people out there in the world. All he asked in return was for some pictures of the fish I catch with them, which I'll absolutely hold that end of the bargain.

That "river" is the River Des Peres, aka River Despair. It's a drainage ditch that typically barely has water enough to cover the top of your feet, that is if you really wanted to walk in that water unless you want your feet to fall off from disease. This time of year they aren't pulling any water from that ditch. That picture on Google Maps is probably from when we had floods last spring.

Dang, they got lucky. That wave just stalled out and the ones behind them kept pushing them. I was on a Haulover kick on Youtube for a while. Some of those boats have no business being out there, but some just plow on through. You can really tell who knows what they are doing out there.

Nims Lake had some really nice fish in it. During the fall after all the camps were done they used to hold a lottery and they would open it up for fishing for those who won. A kid in our troop did it one year and they caught several nice bass out of it.

One of the few fishing pictures of me I have readily available from my youth. Circa 1985 when I was 12. Table Rock Dam.

Yeah, mine weighs about 15lbs without anything in it. It says it holds 20 12oz cans and ice, but if you want enough ice to keep things cold for an afternoon it'll only hold about 15 cans. They don't make the one I have anymore, they've upped it to a Rodie 24 that holds a whole case of cans, but it comes with a silly strap for a handle, although they did add a molded handle on each side to allow two people to carry it. They deleted the drain plug on the new one though, and the reply Yeti gives on people who complain about it is, "We added two hand holds in lieu of a drain plug, and the hand holds make it easy to flip over to drain the water out." Well my reply back to them is, "What do you do if your cooler is full of stuff and you want to drain the water out to add more ice? Do you just hope your stuff doesn't fall out?" -

I'm not a fan of Yeti stuff. Especially with companies like RTIC and Ozark Trails that have similar products for much cheaper that work just as well if not better. I have one of the smaller Roadie 20 Yeti coolers that I got as a Christmas gift to go on the boat the year I got it. I hate the handle that it has. Makes it difficult to carry, and when its full its really too heavy to carry by oneself. With the handle it has it's not designed for two people to carry it also. It really doesn't keep the ice as long as they say it should either. I'd never spend as much money as they want for their coolers. -
