Interesting debate. One one hand we complain that there aren't enough agents, and on the other we complain that we are interrupted too often by the few that there are. I don't mind paying my way. The licenses are really quite cheap. Come check me, and leave all the other guys alone. I don't mind. I've had way more good experiences with law enforcement than I've had bad. I understand the problems but I really believe we as people decide if we want to react negatively or positively. I've changed my mindset and try to see the better of most situations. Life is alot less stressful thenlast 10 or 15 years.

Found a recipe for French Onion Smothered Pork Chops online. Easy looking and had the ingredients. Added some homemade mashed potatoes and Famous Dave's Jalepno cornbread, southwest style canned corn, and Stovetop Stuffing. Yup. Sorry to hear about your chicks. Can't blame a dog for hunting. Take it easy on the pup. We all have done things we aren't proud of. Hate to see an end because of its instincts.

Major milestone VICTORY. Yea, I got to the creek!!! That's been my "goal". Sure, walking is great. Sure getting to be able to exercise is needed, and nice. But, for mental health, and to do more than feel like I'm surviving, my goal was to get to the creek. It took longer than I'd have liked. It was difficult, and I used a walking stick. But I MADE IT!!

I went last week and got some of the hellgramites. I won't expect to use them for another month or so. But who knows, I might get to swing them into my local pond.

Writing a specific law would be very tricky. As mentioned, how would you determine if another was underway or not?. Secondly, some areas may not have enough usable water to give a reasonable distance between bank and structure. Add jet boats to the equation, as they need to stay on plane, makes it really sloppy. Courtesy. That is what people really need to start preaching and bragging about. The social dynamics change when people start bragging.

I wonder if the lust for fishing is starting to fade. Seems with covid and pre covid fishing was the thing to do. Now, the chatter has slowed down and people are reporting fewer people on the water. No complaints from me.

Bummer on losing a productive lure. Glad you were able to keep on em though.
