  1. Not much of a "sports" guy. Minus the X-Games style. Found this one funny and it goes with the thread. This one's for you, Quill....
  2. I've read that green sunfish are invasive.
  3. A co-worker told me about this today. He said he heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend. I told him I wasn't sure as it was not on here yet. Now it is so I guess it's official.
  4. Fun fact about Delaware. You may know, but, they have no sales tax. If you need to buy larger items, it may be worth the drive. Great report, happy to read the successes. No crabs to be caught here.
  5. Solid seller, quick shipping, and packed very well. Included some extras too. I would do business with @drew03cmc again.
  6. Do it let him fool you on the pronunciation. You don't fish in the Mississip'ah river. 😁
  7. Great article.
  8. The water is less dangerous than the highways.
  9. I'll take the bunch. Pm to follow.
  10. Great job. Thank you.
  11. Dang it Vernon!
  12. Did anyone else "feel" the water in your nose we sensation? At the point of impact, I felt as if the water was forced up my nose. Weird.
  13. What about closing certain areas of the lake for a few weeks at a time to tournaments. The whole lake doesn't spawn at the same time. Collect data for a few years and find the spawn patterns. That info is surely already available. The area(s) that are likely spawning should be restricted in some way. This would have to be on your honor. We already have tournaments that restrict certain baits/lures. Why not certain areas for a short window. I don't like the idea of closing off the whole lake due to small businesses not being able to collect much needed income. We can blame many things on why the size is just not there, but maybe, just maybe catch and release is over crowding the prime areas. Just a thought.
  14. I am glad to see them. In was not complaining, not by any means. Pretty nice to see the info again.
  15. Not sure how I came upon this, it opened when I clicked on new content. Great advice from a great poster.
  16. I am camping this weekend, but would like to join you sometime.
  17. I would be in. I enjoy catching any fish. I have been known to target carp. They put on a great fight. I throw all fish back, I could care less the species. I just want to catch.
  18. I really enjoy your reports. Looking forward to it.
  19. They are my next desire.
  20. Being Easter weekend, I hope you have a decent turnout. I would like to experience this once.
  21. Had to look it up: I'm sure you've told me John, I'm certain we discussed it in person, but couldn't remember. A taxonomist is a biologist that groups organisms into categories. A plant taxonomist for example, might study the origins and relationships between different types of roses while an insect taxonomist might focus on the relationships between different types of beetles.
  22. You can tell your grandkids that you 'were there when it all started'. 😁
  23. Just wanted to share my lunch break micros. All caught and released in Arnold, MO. Beautiful fish in the streams.
