  1. Nice seeing the different species. Glad you all are getting to fish, and she still enjoys your company.
  2. No guts, no glory. Thanks for sharing with us Bo.
  3. Plenty of carp stocked in Carondelet Park. Looks like Horshoe Lake. I have caught a few there as a kid. I would have thrown it back. It is a stocked pond that is in the middle of the city. No worries at all about that fish being able to go anywhere. The kids probably have seen it, and count on feeding it. The closest river is River DesPeres, which is an overflow from the Mississippi River. It's really more of a sewer drainage. Locals talk about the Brown Trout in there. There is no connection to the lake(pond).
  4. No butterflies in that "man's net". Good job both of you. Thanks for sharing with us.
  5. I really did not consider looking for gills. It was crawling around the rocks away from the bank in the bottom of the creek. It could very well be a newt. The tail was very perforated (for lack of a better word). Yes, they all had the second stripe. I don't see a black spot on the dorsal fin. Except this little guy.
  6. Gonna have to mark my calender. Shucks, guess the fish didn't read the post in time either. Better luck next year.
  7. Here is another shot. @snagged in outlet 3 I'm not sure of the creeks name. It may be Antire creek. I've always just know it as "the creek at Beaumont".
  8. Seen a good size blue racer in the woods yesterday. No morels though.
  9. Man!, can't believe I missed this. CGB, alive in the flesh!? In public!? WOWSERS. Well? How did you do?
  10. We were at Beaumont Scout Reservation, just east of Eureka. Close to the Meremac. Hwy I-44and Hwy 141. Fenton, maybe. There is a vey shallow creek that runs through camp. Often dry.
  11. So, at scout camp, I introduced a fellow leader to microfishing. He enjoyed it alot. I would like some one to identify the catch in the last photo. It was very tiny. Location is near Eureka, MO. Small creek at Beaumont Scout Reservation. My guess is a salamander species.
  12. I hope you do well @JF660R
  13. Good luck, and enjoy. Boy scout camping starts back up this weekend.
  14. 2nd the thanks.
  15. #fakenews LOL, looked snagged. Fitting.
  16. Yup. The worst part of this circle, is crop insurance is gov't funded, and regulated. So is flood insurance. The insurance companies have no control over pricing, and regulations. Every company will offer the exact same product(s). Nothing more, nothing less. The difference is claim quality and speed.
  17. I didn't learn much about the full crop insurance program, as I don't sell that. But, I would believe the farmers would be covered for loss of crops in that instance. I know that doesn't cover the farmer who decides to opt out of that coverage, and suffers a loss. Just my first thoughts.
  18. I heard you also, I was wondering who it could have been. Were you in red top and bottoms? Seen a boat in a spot we wanted in, the boat never left, but many were stacked up on that spot. We decided to leave it alone.
  19. Is that a rare descendent of the rattle headed copper moccosin?
  20. Well, I can report success. I lived up to the tournament's name. I was an OAF member who caught 1 Bass. Nothing else. I rode in @dblades boat. He knows many spots, and caught a number of bass, a white bass( fake news), a walleye, and a crappie. He tried to get me to catch. I just didn't have it. I still had a great time. Due to the less than stellar forecast, and weather, I decided to come home this evening, instead of fishing Roaring River tomorrow. Bonus points: I didn't fall into the water. The food was great, grilled salmon, smoke bologna, cucumber salad, and more. I took home someone's groceries. LOL. Thanks everyone, I'm looking forward to next year. Congrats to the winner who hasn't posted yet. I will not steal the thunder.
  21. Try swapping the driver side and passenger side bulbs. Then worry about the trailer.
  22. Come over to eagle rock, about 10 minutes from the park when you are done. We are having the OAF tourney. Come say hi.
  23. I have the burgers, some charcoal, and a small BBQ Pit. I did not think to grab a spatula or something to turn the burgers. If someone could please bring that I've already left my home.
  24. I will bring burgers. I hope you are safe. I couldn't even think of asking for reimbursement. If you really feel the need, please donate it to a local cause.
  25. You are correct. How many times have "facts" been disproved? How many facts have derived from half of the information needed provided? This can go on and on.
