Thank you for such a detailed report. I really enjoyed the landscape pictures. The fish pictures were excllent also. I'm glad you had a great time. It allows us to read a great report. I will one day decide to do a trip out west. I always enjoy Billethead's trip.

I am not referring to the fish in the impoundments, but the native strains that are affected by the impoundments. The thought is neat, but dangerous. We already have a great abundance of fish we cannot catch.

You could always tell the person" be careful over here with that bait, you are really not supposed to use it. Last year they got me here for that." Or something along those lines. Get as elaborate as you like. Sometimes people really just don't know. There are so many signs all around. I have no idea about half of the holes, areas that you guys give names for. They are not always very easy for new people to recognize. I have been guilty of trying to keep a fish from the catch-and-release zone at Roaring River. Someone was kind enough to tell me.

I use Dave's heads, and they have weed guards. I have honestly never tried anything else.

I attach a flag to anything that extends past my bumper. I don't want to give anyone a reason to hit me. You could get really creative with a red flag, I use a red mechanics rag. You could even use an epoxy to a fix it permanently.

I have hauled my 13 foot gheenoe in my short bed Dodge Dakota many times. Just make sure you use a red flag maybe a couple to alert people what's behind you. Ratchet strap diagonally across from forward to backward inside the bed. When I first picked it up in Lebanon Missouri, I only had a ratchet strap from the nose to the back of the bed. Took some good hills and curves never had any issues nor was I uncomfortable.
