  1. I have had the Cabelas Guidegear for probably 12 years and really like them. I think they would be a little to heavy for summer use. In the summer if it’s raining I just wear a light Frog Toggs jacket and swimming trunks.
  2. Around 3” here at Pomme De Terre but melting. Would have been more but was only 37 when it started yesterday.
  3. COE says it was 40 degrees at 8:00 this morning at the dam.
  4. Hope y’all have a very merry Christmas
  5. I thought about doing something like that but carpet was good and didn’t want screws or rivets showing on the deck
  6. I fixed the 2 big lids on the rear deck of the 520 that I had. I just cut a piece of I think was 1/4” plywood that would fit the inside recess on the bottom of the lid and glassed it in with fiberglass cloth and resin. Made them a little heavier but the were solid. Then painted them white underneath to match the other lids .
  7. Bought a spot lock trolling motor so selling my 36 volt 101 Fortrex. It’s in great condition. Has built in us2 transducer. Trolling motor is located at Pomme De Terre lake. $500
  8. I’m running a 2014 721 Phoenix and have been impressed with it. The ride is as good if not better than the 2001 520 Ranger that I had before this one.
  9. That’s kind of what I figured happened I was just wondering if there was some other way that they ruined it that I wasn’t aware of. Thanks Wrench
  10. Just curious how did the mud daubers ruin your motor?
  11. I really seen this when 2 of my buddies had the same year Ranger 520 that I had. They both had Mercury 225 Optimax and I had Yamaha 225 OX66. Had to sink their trailers about 6” deeper than mine to be able to push the boat to the front roller.
  12. No thank you for telling him about it. Greatly appreciate it
  13. A friend of mine just put a 4 stroke on his boat and wants to sell this motor. It’s a 1988 Classic fifty 45hp Mercury. Runs good has good compression , carbs just cleaned. Has power trim. Comes with controls and 6 gallon plastic fuel tank. It’s located at Pomme De Terre lake. Clear Mo. title. He’s asking $2100
  14. I totally agree with you I’ve lost 2 jerk baits to them already this year.🤬
  15. That don’t look like any moonshine that I ever had!
  16. The rise is finally slowing down at 13 feet above normal pool.
  17. Planning on getting out next week but looks like will be dodging a lot of floaters. Lake has come up 8’ since last night. Be careful.
  18. We caught quite a few bass but couldn’t find any better ones like I did a couple weeks ago. Most of the fish we caught were 12-14” caught one little over 4 lbs. most of the ones we found were just outside the bushes in 3-6 fow. Talked to a few other guys that were catching a few flipping the bushes.
  19. Corp says level 841.98 water temp when I was out yesterday was about 58 in the morning and got to little over 62 in the afternoon.
  20. Have heard of a few people catching some around some docks but just what I’ve heard. Bass were pretty good last Saturday afternoon up shallow if that interests you.
  21. A friend wanted me to post this for him. It’s a 1992 Sundancer 20’ pontoon with trailer, top and 1992 40 hp Yamaha motor. Motor runs good had lower unit grease and water pump replaced last summer. Rear bench seat has some tears taped up. He’s asking $6000. I can get more pictures.
  22. Thanks Ketchup I will get with my partner and see if we will be able to do some tournaments this year.
  23. They will on my Lowrance. I would assume they would on the Garmin too.
  24. I have ordered some jigs and swim jigs from the too. Been really happy with the stuff I ordered.
