  1. Went back yesterday and caught them again pretty good, 6-8ft on brush, water temp jumped from 49 Friday to 54 where i was. Wind direction changed and they weren't on the same brush as they were Friday. Only had 9 keepers yesterday in 3 hours, had my little boy with me and ill take 9 as a win, a 7 year old trying to crappie fish in the wind is kinda tough
  2. Like Bill said man these things work great mechanically, its just the dang computer screwing up. Mine is under warranty and im not to worried Garmin customer service is excellent
  3. The problem is, when you call tech support the first thing they want you to do is update the software. I updated again last night and still has the same problem, dang thing hits reverse every time i engage spot lock and it hauls in reverse. I guess ill be calling them and see what happens from there
  4. Hey, Glen, do you have any leads on a lower unit for a 95 merc EFI 225, i have a buddy that needs one

  5. It says your inbox is full, if your still down on Table Rock holler at me 417-894-2974
  6. Might have been the windiest day i have ever fished. Havent been for a while, every time im in town the weather suck. Today i decided im going rain or shine. I moved around a bit saw water from 49-54, all my crappie were caught in the colder water no more than 5-8 feet deep on brush. Boat was never deeper than 13ft. all were caught on Bobby Garland baby shad, used a lot of different natural colors, all seemed to work the same. 10 female and 5 males. 1/32 ounce jigs were the ticket but a pain in the butt in all that wind. No need for livescope today, i was just fishing laydowns, i couldnt have used it if i wanted since its on the troller and it took everything i had to keep the boat from blowing everywhere. Garmin Force Spotlock was absolutely horrible. I thought i had it fixed but then i did the most recent updated and its worse than ever. When i hit lock it hits reverse at least 20ft now, before it was only 10 ft. In between brush piles i threw a G5 red Crankbait and the bass were absolutley crushing it, i bet i made less than 100 casts and caught 15, only 2 keeps but i was more on the hunt for a limit of crappie in 25+ mph wind. Saw some other guys catching them every other cast too
  7. Mine are on 2x6's and as you can see they scuff up the bottom of a boat. Not sure the brand, cant find a label anywhere
  8. I get mine at the little hut in Cape Fair every year
  9. I have some slick covers that go over my bunks on my bass boat. They were on when i got the boat, i dont like them at all on a bigger boat. They are so slick it is scary. I dont undo my strap until my prop is almost in the water. And when i load i will pull up the trailer and as soon as i put it in neutral it will slide back a foot or more, so i actually have to crank it up by hand farther than if i just had carpet. I see guys all the time at the ramps with carpet load the boat no straps on and the guy in the truck just pulls them out. Makes me cringe everytime because im so used to how slick mine is.... Im sure on a small lighter weight boat i would like them but i def. wouldnt put them on another bass boat
  10. Im just saying if you cant figure it out on your own maybe you shouldn't compete. I bet when those guys win they thank all their sponsors that gives them %20 off but they fail to mention their guide that put them on the fish. I get it that it is legal and people do it, it would just be hard for me to be proud of myself for catching fish someone else put me on.
  11. Yeah, but if they are competing at that level you would think they could find there own fish.
  12. For the record I was not trying to bash any guides, I just feel there isnt a lot of integrity with the guys hiring guides to show them how to catch them the day before the tournament
  13. Getting a guide the day before a tournament is pretty pathetic in my opinion. Im sure it is done way more than i even know

  20. https://craigcat.com/ sounds like one of these. Ive seen them zipping up and down Taney, they rent them at the landing
  21. Dang that water temp is going the wrong way
  22. Thats what im afraid of. Redhead hats, XPS cranks, BPS worms, JM signature series everything.
  23. I guess im probably out then. Sounds like a nightmare. Has anyone even seen a flyer or anything advertising any deals on stuff. I would be pissed if i went through all that for a bargain bin full of XPS Cranks
  24. Im going to try to go early the first morning. Parking will probably be an issue they were sitting up tents in front of the store that tool up most of the parking lots, huge tents
