All that's needed to catch smallmouth is a marabou jig. Tons of other options but a jig (or Ned) is what I use. But. I'm boring and don't catch very many fish.
We catch them around bridge pilings. Cricket hook, one split shot, 2 lb. line. And a Cricket.. Cast and keep in touch as the Cricket sinks. Works good on Stockton should work on TR too I would think
I've had several 5.7 trucks. The engine has power deluxe and decent fuel economy. They'll only last from now on. The rest of the truck will wear out first, given decent maintenance.
Love Door County. But you'll not find me on that lake in any small craft. Just don't enjoy that rough treatment anymore. An out of the way exceptionally good place to eat up there is Prince of Pierogi. Two Czech brother who can really cook. Just ask Griz
The only one I ever cooked was extraordinarily well fastened to it's hide. I tried to cook it low and slow on a grill. At the end of three hours or so it was inedible. Tough. Extraordinarily tough. That was a failed experiment and I never tried to improve my average.
