    I recently learned that newer model cars and trucks have AGM batteries. Wife has a 2018 Jeep Renegade that recently had a bad battery. It caused all kinds of mystery problems. Sun Roof, Key Fob, Transmission shift points, all kinds of codes. New battery fixed them all, after resetting the computer by disconnecting battery with engine running.

    Scherzer for the Jays. I don't think either starter will make it through the 4th inning. Dodgers escaped certain death last night. It is going to be fun to watch.

    Jeff, you missed a great pitching performance by Trey Yesavage. Been in the majors about a month and tied Sandy Koufax for 10 strikeouts in the first five innings. Wound up with 12 after holding Dodgers to one run in seven innings. I think he finished with 27 missed swings. Pretty good.

    4 for 4 with two home runs and then 5 walks in a row. And then starting pitcher for Game 4. With seven pitches! Game 4 didn't go his way. But he may not be done - maybe a relief appearance. What a player.

    With all the AI misinformation out there I'm not sure if this actually happened. So is there a new state record or not?

    I've seen quite a few tarantulas over the years. They seem to be more common in glade environments. And hey Al, this one's for you. Aggressive things.

    I think that's pretty well true for most hydro plants. They all have different water levels above and below their respective dams and differing flow levels for generation. I know Bagnell is that way for certain.

    Nothing that anyone will ever notice. Hydro is mostly for peak demands unless they need to get rid of water. Then it's a bonus to the grid.

    In my world, I'm happy about other people being happy catching .... whatever they're fishing for and having a good time doing it. Wherever they may be. It doesn't always have to be a 500 pound tuna or a 3 pound smallie or a first trout at Bennett. Have at world and enjoy what we have.

    No charge? That doesn't seem fair to me for you. But if you make them look like NASCAR shirts only with boats instead of cars then OK. EVERYBODY needs to sign everybody else's shirt too. Not negotiating on that either. Count me in for a good new sharpie.

    They look like the normal ugly ones. But one thing is different. I've picked eight and pitched that many more this week. They still taste the absolute best. As late as I can remember getting anything other than green tomatoes to fry

    I fished vicariously through Field and Stream/Outdoor Life as soon as I could read. Asked for and got a spincast outfit for Christmas when I was nine. Rode my bike down to a little creek on the edge of town. Caught two bullheads. Took them back home and my grandmother helped me clean them and cooked them for my lunch. I don't think I have a sweeter fishing memory - and after searching the memory banks I'm sure. Thanks for a good topic Mr. Ness.

    Fixed that for you. It was NOT cancelled, just held on a neutral field. Taneyfests came later as a copycat pale imitation of the real deals. I'm still calling this one Jigfest 13.
