Put in at 7:05 and started in front of my house. Stuck with 2 baits the whole time. Jerk bait and buzzbait. Pretty good day - caught around 15 total with 6 being keepers. Big was 4.94. I haven’t been fishing for a while so This is my first post in a long time. I had a flock of turkeys fly over me and several landed in the lake - first time I ever seen turkeys swim!!

I am not much of a jig guy - but I throw them on 12lb when I do throw them without much problem. I am sure you will get more information from a real jig fishing guy before too long - good help on this forum.

I tried a bunch of stuff in a bunch of different area’s. Couldn’t figure them out too well today. I think I landed 4 fish - no keepers. Launched at sun up and done by 9:30 - I had hopes of staying out later but with very little action and it getting hotter I whimped our. I hope your fishing was better that mine.

For sure. I know of a couple people that have it and got it shortly after the shot. The Dr. told my buddy that has it - that it was because of the added stress of the shot.

Congratulations. - great trip and report. Spendy little jig heads - but if a guy can throw them in brush piles all day without breaking one off - they are probably worth it. Might have to get a few.

Nicely done. Reports like this make me second guess whether I should be looking at new electronics - I keep telling myself NOOOO but feel myself caving in a little at a time.

Not for me either. Smallest floor plan offered was 5 bedrooms - no way am I doing anything like that!!

Nice report!! I have never thrown a glide bait (maybe that’s not a glide bait - not sure I guess.) before. Very interesting for sure. The son was grinning from ear to ear which is great to see. Congratulations.

Well done. Nice report. I took the jet ski out Sunday and water temp read 88 on the ski - jumped in and yep felt like bath water already.
