I will guess they hit a strainer/sweeper and the drugs didn't work. But just a guess. Been on many rivers late at night, easy to get in trouble sober or not.

Chert is usually easy to identify. Just put the tip of your tongue on it. If it sticks for a smidge, its chert.

As most of us understand, the friendship, barter system is the best system. I will give all I have for that.. But, gosh I changed the little princess diapers, now I have to pony up college graduation $ Im putting her 1st Marriage money in gold and silver, divorce lawyers are $$$$.

Friend replacing deck boards decided to expand deck by 2x.. Covid shut project down. When he restarted he used steel instead of timber for beams for joists to lay on. MUCH cheaper. He has almost bought the rest of lumber after last kid out of school. He makes 150+ plus ( big union hvac guy) plus what wife kicks in(70+) and he just called for a weekend reunion. Asked if I could bring my screws, nails and etc. Said he "might" have rest of lumber, wants to finish it before last girl gets married... I don't know how some guys do it

Wrench, it's going to hurt. BAD. Find a local Amish mill and just replace them with oak, etc. Stay away from cottenwood if you can. Just predrill holes and hope they outlive you.

Yep, a friend and son went and caught a unbelievably large monster. His son(17) did the job, it was truly an amazing fish. I don't think (know) Im in good enough shape for that battle. 30# salmon gas me anymore.

1 More... Solo trip in my canoe down the Manistee River. Picking blueberrys as i fish along the bank. A monster garter snake attacked me and I buried a # 0 mepps in my hand when i escaped that beast. It was about HUGE. About 6".

Back in the winston/joe camel day we had a free kayak .Fishing in the strip pits, in very narrow strips. One early morning after a doe and great buck jumped OVER us I set the hook on a monster bass(my story). Anyways it spit the hook... and I ducked the floating Rapp coming back at me. My roommate then and great fishing buddy caught it in the mouth and ear. I was getting ready to cast again when I heard stop plus you know.. Long hike pulling the kayak out and trip to joplin to have it removed.

High 80s for a part timer is good for 18 holes. Great actually.

Malt o meal was a special treat. Like scrambled eggs with left over hot dog slices. My Dad and Mom worked hard to feed us. My Mom cry's when i ask for eggs and hotdogs, says she did what she could. They live on the beach in Ca now, I still love eggs and dogs.. I don't ask anymore when I visit

Snagged, you are good to go if you received e-mail.Mine came in mail Friday but was in the system when I got the e-mail. I mailed mine in with check, received e-mail and it was in system like Martys that day. Card took about 10 days.
