Ok I am going to put one toe on the soap box for a minute.
Taxes...I am just a plain old factory worker. I worked somewhere north of 3700hrs last year. I received the 1st stimulus check $600 bucks or something. My wife works at Casey's less maybe 40hrs a week.
After applying the 4 checks that we didn't get (2 for me 2 for her) and our donations which are fairly sizable for folks like us, we broke even (I like to brake even, the thought of giving the man and interest free loan for a year makes me mad, I'll save my own money). The accountant said that I had better start paying more in or we will have a big bill at the end of the year.
I said no way, I will just defer more into my 401, I guess. I reckon they will take that soon too.
Stimulus checks, fine it's our money anyway, so why pay it back? I don't get it?
Sure would like to hide some cash, I don't who hears me say it.
I have held a job since I was 16 I'm 53. That's a lot of taxes !
I am a fair mechanic, Glen needs help, he can pay me under the table😜
