I agree. The storms just kept missing the main basin. Luckily! 920 puts water at the edge of our boat yard. Right now the yard is gone.

I’ve used a half crazy-Alberto for a couple years with no breaks. But…. Lately I’ve gone straight fluorocarbon instead of braid with leader. I used straight flouro on a windy day and then saw this video. Pretty interesting.
I’d add San Juan worm to what you and @dpitt mentioned. Especially after this rain. I’ve had wetlander on my river jet for 6 years. That stuff is great!
I was on the meramec a couple years ago right at little Indian creek. I was casting my way back to the ramp. I heard and saw a huge mud surge coming down little Indian. It had rained south of me and I didn’t give it a thought until I saw it. I hightailed it down to the ramp and just got my boat out when it reached the ramp. Within a few minutes it was a raging muddy debris torrent. Crazy!
