  1. Silver lining I guess 😀
  2. My daughter and her college crew were swimming there Saturday. I asked if anyone was fishing and she said yeah but they never caught anything.
  3. I don’t think I recognize 4 anglers in the whole group. I have a super algorithm that helps get me to the bottom of our group😆
  4. Have you ever been to Prairie Slough near Elsberry? Back in the 90's it had excellent crappie fishing. We would just hit every downed tree along the bank. We caught some real nice ones there. Save you a little drive time.
  5. How did it get in there? Is there an outflow that connects to a bigger river?
  6. I spent many scout trips at Beaumont way back when.... Great place and I've crawled all over that creek. Is it Antire Creek? Antire Park next door used to be a 3-wheeler and motorcycle area. Not regulated, we used to ride there a lot.
  7. We were at a large subdivision lake that was chocolate milk with floating debris. One 15”er on a square bill. We had a good chop on north and east banks but they weren’t having the red eye or spinner bait. Great time within my home county.
  8. Got a red one tied on right now headed out for some afternoon mud water fishing.
  9. Mmm. Mmm. Headed to savannah Wednesday. Eating out every meal till we leave Saturday.
  10. Try this guy.
  11. Check. Run it till it stops and kick it off the back.
  12. Hey Wrench, would it be advisable to trade in my 2018 merc 60/40 jet while its still under warranty for an Etec? I just don’t want any hassle down the road.
  13. Innuendo: Italian suppository. 😆
  14. I think 33 was stocked with hybrids a while back.
  15. Sweet. I stay at The Cliffs at Long Creek. Bring em all over!!!
  16. Got this back today, Sean. Dear Mr. SIO3 Thank you for contacting me regarding the Pebble Mine permit in Alaska. Knowing your thoughts and concerns helps me better represent the people of Missouri’s 2nd District in Congress. As you may know, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced that it will invoke authority under the Clean Water Act to determine whether it should permanently bar the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from issuing a discharge permit for the mine. This follows an assessment previously made by EPA on the environmental impacts that the mine could potentially have on the area. All of these actions have come before proponents have applied for a federal environmental permit for the project and serve as a rare preemptive veto by the agency that potentially disregards due process. Pebble Mine is the largest and most contentious mine ever proposed in Alaska. I will continue to monitor this situation as it develops. Rest assured, as your Representative, I take my oath to protect the Constitution very seriously and value the important role Congress plays as a check and balance in its symbiotic relationship with the Executive and Judicial branches of our government, no matter what political party may be in the White House. Again, thank you for contacting me on this important issue. Hearing the views of all Missourians gives me the opportunity to better understand how important public policy items could impact the people of our state and the future interests of our nation. In that regard, your input is most helpful. For additional information regarding current legislation and the 2nd Congressional District, I invite you to visit my website at http://www.wagner.house.gov Sincerely, Ann Wagner Member of Congress
  17. I brought this thread up to my wife since we have been going there several times a year for 30 years together. She said she misses the old restaurants.
  18. I remember it was in old town down by the water. Dimitri's maybe??
  19. Never needed a cold front for them to be gone when I get there. Fake news!! White bass vile critters. I call collusion on their part.
  20. It had a stump on it a few weeks ago.
