  8. Not a dinner but I thought I would throw this out there for Joe D. I've had a turkey sandwich for lunch for 30 years and I'm sick of it. So yesterday I cooked up a top round roast and sliced it up for lunch meat. I seasoned and seared it in a cast iron skillet and the put a few sprigs of rosemary and a cup of wine in it and finished in a 350 oven to medium. Roast beef sandwich for lunches this week!!!!

  23. I saw 80 of them the past few days in cut corn field I drive through everyday. A couple days ago the tom's had about 20 hens pinned up against the highway with cars going by at 70 MPH.
  24. I worked for GM for years and the toughest hands I ever saw were on "Skinners". Those guys would skin out leather car seats all day. 528 per 8 hour shift. They would steam the leather to soften them up but it was still a brutal job. I did it for a while and I kept looking into my gloves to see if my skin peeled off. The warm moist leather would soften your skin and literally at times it would peel back like a banana peel.
