  1. They also have them cut up in pieces. I like dark meat and wings and if wasn’t for my wife I wouldn’t buy a breast.
  2. I won’t eat them. Local market has 3 pound chickens. I only eat those. Not that they are any better, it’s just the size I prefer.
  3. Nah, we’re still friends. Betting is different than rooting for the home team.
  4. I have in-laws there so I’ve been to most if not all. Zardas ribs are top notch to me and I’ve been going there for years. 25-30 maybe??
  5. I picked the skins. I thought they would shut down Patrick. They did but only for 3 quarters. It's great for KC though.
  6. Green/orange ned!
  7. Yes and are currently gigged. And smallies taken out of season and undersized ones kept.
  8. I think they have a BBQ there every year.
  9. Did they have a party at the boat ramp by the dam?
  10. I heard during breeding season they are attracted to dogs.

  12. I'm not a grappler but I follow the political as much as I can.
  13. Urban lakes are chock full of them.
  14. When I got my Ultrex I immediately bought the G Force. When I cut the original cable out it was steel. My buddies is nylon though.
  15. Honestly I don't remember any particularly large fish but at the time we were going to Taney, The White and Norfork quite a bit. And those were the hay days of the tailwaters and big fish. Back then a lunker was 5 pounds and we caught plenty of them on the tailwaters. What I do remember is you could go down there and catch nice fish and plenty of them without going into the parks. It wasn't unusual to have 20-30 fish day for a couple guys. What we really talked about was not only the decline in that area starting in the 90's, but how quickly the fishing below Scott's Ford declined. Which we thought happened overnight it seemed. We probably fished below Scott's Ford as much as the Cardiac Access. We would catch browns, rainbows and smallies out of the same hole. Lots of them and nice ones. And then it just seemed to be over. Not that you couldn't do the same thing today but not nearly the quantity and quality like it was before. In the late 80's my buddy had a Toyota Tercel 4 wheel drive wagon and I would lift the cable at Cardiac and he would drive under it and down to the river. So we could drive out at the end of the day. We did that many times until one day the owner and the sheriff were waiting at the top of the hill for us. We did some real talking that day to keep our butts out of jail. Apparently we had slipped away several times before he could the sheriff there. At one point in the conversation I even tried to get personal access but he wasn't having it.
  16. He lived another 29 years and the ribbing he took from his buddies was great. No better beer drinking Story around the campfire than that.
  17. Back in the early 70's we used to fish there all the time. Coming up the hill one dad my dad had a heart attack. A couple days later he had a triple bypass. From then on everyone started it calling Cardiac hill. Mostly the guys at Ozark Fly Fishers. He was a big conservationist and held all kinds of positions in OFF, FFF, the Conservation Federation and Trout Unlimited. The state adopted the name and we got the biggest kick out of it. The Southern Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers voted him into the hall of fame in 2011. He was one of the first to be voted in that first year of the hall of fame.
  18. Doesn’t bother me at all. My dad thought it was kind of funny that the state used the name.
  19. Bought two packs😁
  20. Oh @Mitch f
  21. I know it’s not “the” place for bbq in KC but I love zardas ribs.
  22. XP’s are a great rod. Maybe the best.
  23. I haven't finished round 3 but I will tonight or tomorrow.
  24. I get the shot every year. Our company pays for a nurse to come in and give them. I don't get as sick as I did when my kids were little and going to school. Man those little snot swappers can brew up some evil infections. Especially little ones at day care.
  25. I might have more deer in my yard than most people have on their farms. Definitely more rabbits and squirrels.
