There was a lot of CRP that expired and rolled back into AG with the biofuel push. CRP was great for birds. Switch grass near row crop was killer habitat. Fescue, competitors (turkeys) and predators are hard on quail. Decent CRP ground provided protection from all 3.

Go to Rogers in Liberty MO or Mack’s Prairie Wings in Stuttgart AR. Nothing in between those places comes close to the selection they have.

I own oculus, zeiss, leupold, vortex and some oddballs. Zeiss has the best clarity and light gathering. Barely better than the vortex razor. Leupold, unless something changes, I won’t own any more. Vortex dominates my safe and their diamondback Bino’s are better than my oculus at half the price. Vortex customer service is second to none. You won’t be disappointed though 12x50 in any brand will be chunky compared to 10x42.

Download uzzu.tv and you can watch virtually every in or out of market game for very little $. I think we paid like $60-$80 for a year and stream that way. Literally every game and you can choose home vs away feeds to.

Nice! What makes the impact blow up the gear case? I want to think that would be common on Truman yet, I can’t recall seeing a grenaded lower unit. I’ve hit hundreds of trees up to and including killing the engine on Truman. Typically at an idle.

Got out for a bit Sunday. The effects of recent warm weather was evident by the spider riggers. I have to assume it was crappie I kept seeing suspended in the back half of creeks. bass fishing was typical post front terrible. Had the honor of being scolded at the Gravois ramp as we were loading up. From what I could gather, I was crazy for “flying “ in at 50 mph and shutting down east of the lay downs in 10ft of water, idling the last few hundred yards. I believe it was because on a different line and further north on the flat he hung up on a stump. Having cut my teeth on Truman and countless trips down Gravois I found the scolding entertaining. I advised I sure was lucky and thanked the grump for his concern.

To my knowledge, the ramp down the road from the blue green cabins is private. It’s flat and on the north side of the cove. Big Cedars ramp is on the south side and on the west end of BCs property on a point.

Did you launch on the north side of big cedar cove or the south side? Big Cedar redid the south ramp a few years back. It’s angle is like most corp ramps. It’s pretty good. Parking sux but ramp and dock are good. the old ramp was indeed too flat.

I’ve shifted to the gutless method and try to get them out of their hide and in a game bag with block ice ASAP. I truly think the meat has improved as a result. All things equal, it certainly reduces extra blood contamination, glands, risk of intestinal fluid, etc At the same time, I have no carcass to deal with at the house.

Thanks. A couple weeks back there was a lot of ice between the ramp and open water. Didn’t know the lake got that much sleet, it takes a minute to melt.

Is the upper Gravois ramp iced in still?

The duration of days off is mandated. My kids did 2 days of virtual because policy wouldn’t allow teachers that felt fine to teach in person. We were rejected from an empty urgent care for stitches in my sons hand because they were focused on Rona. policy is a huge issue. I only keep going because you claim no freedoms are lost

The portion is: We've have mandated, government enforced vaccines and quarantines supported by Supreme Court decisions for more than a century for small pox, TB, and more. People and politicians need to stop pretending that our rights are being violated. Regarding: Just locally, Cox is having to cancel routine visits and schools are closing because they can't get enough subs. it’s policy canceling things and leaving short handed. Mandatory time off creates shortages. im vaxed. Had covid. Probably spread it too. The test accuracy still sucks. Test enough you can have time off too.

I’m game to hear specifics that back this claim. Show me one that negatively impacted private business and caused people to be fired in conjunction with a shot that only lessens the effect of the illness. The vaccines mentioned actually and literally prevent disease and in some cases eliminated it. im not saying the vax can’t or doesn’t help. I am saying freedoms are being negatively impacted and that sucks for our Republic.

Several places around here have 78% nitrogen. It treats my tires pretty well is inflated to the pressure on the door pillar sticker.

2018 Silverado crew. 5.3, 4x4. Low 20’s on the highway, mid teens towing a my boat on a tandem trailer. I use tow haul when towing. Next truck will be a new version on this one which was a new version of the last one, and on and on. I do wish the side of the seat was tougher (or me lighter, taller or step bars) to reduce wear and tear. get the locking differential. You will be happy.

The fuel management quote is bunk unless you can share one credible source with defect rates. zero issues with 5.3’s for me and at least 1 million miles combined. Current 2018 is approaching 80k without a hiccup. None of my trucks have had any warranty work or repairs performed. Maybe I’m lucky.
