Beautiful day on the lake. WT 51-53. WC about 3ft. Had 12 black bass -3 keepers (mix of spotted bass and large mouth). Two on Jerkbait from brush pile in 20 fow. The rest came on a Damiki rig following bait with fish around using FFS. Bait was mostly in 40 fow on long flats. I don't post much because I'm usually humbled when I go to the lake, but I finally caught a few today using the tips I get from this forum. I greatly appreciate you all sharing your knowledge! I also caught a very well fed white bass - 3.7 lbs. Pretty sure it was a white and not a hybrid. let me know what you think. Tight lines!

The day of the eclipse I put in at Moonshine Beach around 8 am. Struggled to catch much (2 small keepers) all morning. 30 min before the eclipse I pulled up on a main channel swing bank going into a spawning pocket. I caught a 4.3lb, 2.5lb, 2.3 lb and 2.0 lb LM on a football jig in the matter of 15 minutes. I'm not sure it had anything to do with the eclipse but it was a nice 15 minutes of fishing.
