Just a thought, but maybe worth considering.
Most baitcast reels lock down drag at 20 lbs. pull or less. Most experts recommend setting the drag at 1/3 the line strength, unless the specific application dictates otherwise. (Short line punching in lily pads). I would bet your drag setting with your 20 lb. line is less than 15 lbs. Of course, I could be wrong.
If I needed an extra 100 feet with a super spook, I would respool with 12 or 15 lb. Yozuri on a reel that has been super tuned and set the drag at something around 10 lbs. The extra line you could spool would protect against being "spooled", the resistance to the fish would be the same, and the bait would fly farther.
