We were traveling somewhere a few weeks ago and my youngest, almost 15, asked if she could get the new album of a band she's been listening to. I said sure and in a few minutes we were listening to it. I told her that one of my favorite things to do when I was younger was get my paycheck and go the the music store in the mall. I'd spend hours in their making only the best selections. Then once I paid my money I could go out to my truck and listen to what I purchased. She actually thinks that doing that would be cool. We still do sometimes at the few shops around town but they aren't the same. Kid was born way after her time. But it is sweet to be traveling and get some new tunes almost instantly.

I liked the forth one. But they all end weird to me. Especially the last one. It's good up till the ending. I had to watch it twice just to make sure I didn't miss something. I didn't.

That one I will agree with. I'll even agree with people that say they like the invisibility of mono/flouro vs braid(that's a confidence thing that is more important than any of this.). The waste thing? No. I don't care.

I've been fishing braid and tying it directly to a Ned rig. Been fishing some of the clearest streams in the Ozarks and have had no issues. Maybe a leader would help on some of the tougher days but I'm good with what I'm doing. Less connections, less connections to fail, less connections to retie when it all goes south.

Any of you seen the new Coen movie? The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. It’s a Netflix original. Don’t think it would make anyone’s top 5 list but very interesting.

Yeah definitely not a fan of Google Photos. Even the one I did get to work on my laptop will not show up when I look at the site through my phone. I found this in the Google Photos Help section. This not something that Phil can just fix here.

Actually I just found a way to make it happen. When you open the image in Google Photos right click on it and select "Copy Image Address". Paste that obnoxiously long link here and it will show the photo like below. Now that's if you are doing it from a computer. If you are doing it from a phone then I don't know. Google Photos might be listed as one of the top photo hosting sites out there but I run across very few people using it. Flickr is a better option if you are looking for free hosting.

It's because the link that is created from Google Photos is not a link to that image but rather a link to that page where the photo resides. This has to do with the way that Google Photo stores your images. Also unless you have changed the settings it's not showing the true image but a lower resolution of the original. The forum doesn't see an image file so it has no idea how to handle it.

Even with two laptops and a iPad it's simple. I go outta my way to try to only fly Southwest to reduce the seating hassle. Sit in the back, earphones in, movie on. Half the time I don't even realize that we have left the ground.

I looked into it a couple of months ago but didn't see the need. Heck it's harder to go in the store and get a cup of coffee than make it through security. I check my bag too!! Oh the horror.
