Walked in on the Frisco Line upriver to snoop around. Didn't take a rod with me since it's still really early and I had the big dog with me. Water looks really good up there but I'm afraid this rain is going to dirty it up. CFS is already rising slowly and we have a bunch more rain coming. Didn't hang around as long as I wanted to. Was trying to find a way down to a gravel bar so the dog could go for a swim. Saw a spot that looked promising even though it was about 10 feet down. A couple of steps into it I realized it was slickass mud and tried to scramble out of it but Charli had already committed to getting into the water and nothing was stopping her. I wasn't smart enough to just let go of the leash so I went down with her, just not as graceful. I slid to a halt at the waters edge covered in mud and bleeding a bit. But she got to go swimming.

Okay but a least put the people that made that ignorant decision in jail for murder. Because that’s what they did. I have zero love for these huge corporations that are continually allowed to keep shitting on people because they have too much money for people to do the right thing. A Tesla crashes and kills a person and everyone wants Elon hung up by his balls. Boeing kills a whole bunch of people because they were cheap bastards that were having a hard time keeping up with their competitor but it’s all good. That’s BS.

Yep. The Max was an ignorant idea and they knew it. But it was the most profitable way to make a lot of money. It bit them hard and it should be then end of Boeing. That’s what they deserve.

More of a process than a recipe. I oil up the cast iron really well then put it in the oven at 400 to preheat. I leave mine in there a while and let it really get heated up, not just when the light clicks off. I pull it out of the oven and crank up the temp. Immediately put the crust in the pan. When you hear it sizzle you know you've done it right. Add the toppings and pop it back in the oven till it's done. Delicious.

Thought about doing the same but adding a steering option.

I use mine at least once a week and it still doesn't sit on the countertop. Sounds like sugarbritches has the same hoarding problem as sweetcheeks. We have 3 crock pots and use one of them a couple times a year. We have a ton of cooking stuff that I never use and she doesn't cook. Makes perfect sense.

Get a rice cooker. Easy peasy.

I've been complaining about qualified boat drivers for a long time. It takes more than a fat wallet to be able to handle the power of some of these bass boats. It isn't like driving a car, not even a fast car. It isn't like driving the ol' fish and ski. And everybody wants bigger, faster, better, because that's the cool thing to do.

My dad and uncle were catching the crap out of fish on Lake Lawtonka using a paddle tail grub on a jig head with the paddle cut off. Smoke gray color. For some reason I remember that very well. That was 1977 or 1978.

Usually have pancakes every Sunday. The youngest loves that. During the week we are barely home enough to fix anything that takes any kind of time.

But I will add that my mom had surgery to fix a problem that she had all her life and it almost killed her. And truthfully with the quality of life she has now it would have been a better option.

If I would have taken the best dog that ever lived to the vet for her regular checkups she would still be here today.

I've taken a lie detector test before and I will never take another one. I had to take one when I was a lot younger. Someone was stealing a lot of product from a store that I worked in. The whole process was very intimidating but I knew I was innocent so I had nothing to worry about. I failed it miserably. Luckily the real thief broke down and admitted to it. But that doesn't remove the fact that I failed even though I had nothing to do with anything being stolen. Never again.
