    blue holographic tinsel by UTC ,Veevus . I have caught plenty of trout on all colors.I did really well on red last Saturday with a 9 foot flourocarbon furled leader I twisted up my self used a # 5 tiny split shot 12 inches from the fly. Bennett blue is really just blue tinsel by Utc. Brown hackle countered wrapped with small copper wire through the hackle and over the tinsel.

    you better tie some bennett blue cracklebacks and some olive wooly buggers and use a sink tip if you want to catch some fish at Bennett. I caught 60-70 fish there last Friday in 8 hours.

    In the summer just find the thermocline and fish above it. The fishing can be tough in the fall because the fish are on the move as the days get shorter and the water cools. The fish can be caught both shallow and deep. People are quick to blame lake turnover for their lack of fishing success at this time of year.

    I believe lake turnover occurs when the lakes surface area becomes cooler than the bottom layer . Most surface temps at present is around 68-71 degrees. I am sure that the bottom layers of most lakes are way cooler than this temp.

    That boat ramp above fall Creek has been closed for years. A wise man would assume that the owners don't want it used for launching anything including yaks.

    The last couple of years Rick would make the trip down to the creek just to visit with me . He would watch me fish, then we would sit and visit. Those were always special moments. I will cherish them always. He was a great friend.

    Some really hate to be teased. I feel sorry for those who get their feelings hurt by the slightest little thing. I like to think I can give as good as I get with anyone so just bring it on.
