  1. Any crappie? I hear that lake is full of them.
  2. I hate that magazine format Issue. But, lots of pics.
  3. When they had to add the extra digit to the gas pumps and daylight saving time to keep us in the dark. Gotta love the 70's.
  4. I use Muck type rubber boots with neoprene liners. Give you a few extra inches of watertight when goofing around in and out of boats. Otherwise, Danner Pronghorns or Sharptail. Goretex and Thins late.
  5. Interesting to know if cave diving has same pressures as open water dives. One would assume the same.
  6. Long time to hold your breath. I wonder at what depth the water starts to boil from the heat of the earth's core?
  7. 2 hour drive at $3.25 a gallon to one for me.
  8. Ribeye is around $20 a lb now. People have to eat.
  9. When did they put the locks on the Niangua to get a boat and barge up there?
  10. Welcome to the new world. Just heard today, don't break a car window, months waits on them.
  11. That really sucks. The insurance things going on really tend to make some think about what they really want to do. Especially when you have severe problems. Don't make decisions based on that if you can't perform. You only have one person and family that matter.
  12. Speaking of gay, I skipped out on Latin in College because the teacher was, very flamingly so. I thought that Latin would help me out to understand the naming on all of the old school systems that were carried along into the New World naming of everything. But, my upbringings could not let me try to learn from someone that did not know simple biology.
  13. I know some guys in the MDC, their agents do not have to go by the rules of probable cause. They have the power that other agencies don't. Civil rights are Trumped by game rules.
  14. Good job.
  15. So threadfins are in Bull Shoals? About the Northern limit. I fish Pickwick and they had a big kill a few winters back when the water temps fell below what the threadfins could survive.
  16. Cork is the bark layer of a tree. Clean it good with soap and water. Can be sealed at that point. https://www.themeateater.com/fish/general/restore-cork-handles-and-bring-new-life-to-your-fishing-rods
  17. A good air rifle shot to the head would have solved that and avoided all the hassle. City folks are really whiny about their pets.
  18. Dip it in spring water till it swells back up. The problem is you don't use it enough. Or you have over used it and the oils from the old 2 strokers on your hands have build up a residue on the surface of the cork. Clean the cork with good dish detergent and then apply the spring water. It may swell back up. Its cork, it grew on a tree somewhere. It needs moisture.
  19. Deer are moving good. I will be sitting on this scrape and marker post Sat Morn.
  20. Hunting mode right now till Thanksgiving, back to fish.
  21. Summer is a busy time everywhere. All of the above should work just fine.
  22. They make a pill for that.
  23. My new hobby. Camera traps around the farm. Last year it was a stray wild boar. Came and went, never saw any more. This year, Bear Hunters must have scared this one over from the hunting zones.
  24. Nice, like a Road Runner on steroids. I like the Road Runner jigs for swim baits, roll over the bottom and give them more flash. Gold blades without the weed guards would be what I would use.
