  1. I am not TJM Dave but I have eaten them both ways. I prefer them brown. To me they taste like a dried soybean straight from the farmers field.
  2. Farther north they are all lumped in the sunnys category. Ya, ya don't ya know
  3. Perch
  4. YAY, Way to go Mrs. Laker.
  5. That is a big list @Bushbeater , Not much of a big venue goer. Been to one with Styx, 38 special and Eddie money. Small venue was, Gordon Lightfoot Emmylou Harris Kingston Trio Peter, Paul and Mary Bonnie Raitt Smothers Brothers Besides the comedy they actually are great folk singers.
  6. Fast forward to 2011,
  7. I'm both! does that count?
  8. And it may get that way too here Rick someday. If it is I hope I am strong enough to deal with it. I have told Pat and our Son Matt to do what they have to do. Right now while I can make that decision and knowing what I know now they should not feel guilty about any decisions they make. Yes I have faith in both of them. Men generally go first so if need be they can make decisions together God forbid Pat goes first it will be up to Matt by himself. Pat really gets mad when I discuss this with her. We are just a flash in the pan in the big scheme of things and in the blink of an eye we will be gone. Hopefully not forgotten
  9. It sure is but it is sometimes the best you can do. My Mom did pretty good after dad passed. Many years actually. Then mild dementia set in. We managed that for a time. It got worse. She would forget to eat and if she did could not remember what she ate. Fell often. If I couldn't get her on the phone I instantly got sick to my stomach. Then it was a race to get over there to check on her. Sometimes it was ok as she had lost the phone. Sometimes not. One fall I finally called the ambulance. She spent a few days in hospital and then in rehab home. It was time to make the move. Boy she was mad, really mad. After partially accepting it she began to thrive in assisted living. Now she realizes she cannot go home. She has friends, bingo, Yahtzee, crafts. She is safe, I sleep better at night. They actually get fed well and I take some of my extra garden produce to the cooking staff.

Depends, Most of the bar baits the stuff that kills is warfarin. A blood thinner. it causes them to bleed out and die. Not on the spot. The bigger the animal the more they have to eat. Just hope they are making home in the neighbors attic you don't like . Warfarin is also taken by humans.
  11. No thunder just a rumble in the distance.
  12. Could that member be me? Yes they do. I sent them 97 tails last February. Got premium price and my shipping fee. All taken with air rifle. Have a good start since the opener. Hoping to send them another box full when season ends. Went to some new ground yesterday morning, public ground. Big timber mix of hardwoods. Seen a bunch all grays. Got windy early. Some potential there. I blanked but call it a good trip and will be back. Thanks for posting @slothman.

Not here they dig under the porch front and back. In the garage too. Nothing but trouble. We take out the armadillos too. Pat chased one down and went all samurai on one with an old steel cross arm brace. Took it out and even hauled it off south into the field for me. Made the vultures happy.

  23. At the clinic where Mrs. BilletHead works. 9 out of 10 times it is a telemed zoom or facetime visit and the patent is told to go to the hospital for a test if they have the symptoms. If they do a walk in and have symptoms at the door they go to an isolation room and the ones that go in to treat garb up in all kinds of personal protective equipment. Tests can be given by the clinic but faster turn around results from hospital. THE CLINIC gets no government subsidies. Way back when the clinic and local hospital did get some moneys to buy supplies for personal protective equipment.
  24. Well I'll be darned I know that guy too
