Hey @Mitch f, We went to an orchard last Saturday. They had a slush machine going with Apple cider. Boy howdy those were really good. Wish as we were driving home I would of got a large one!

Great intel. So I just got off the phone with Oneshot (David) @Bgctrading you had the name right :). He is alive and doing about the same as he posts. We had a long talk. Said he was tired of the BS. I told him there were quite a few of us that were worried and missed his posts. Don't know if he will get back on here or not. So Mystery solved. I have a number now and sometime I am over fishing Bennett Springs I am going to see if he is available for a visit. The Man, the myth, the legend is out there folks 😁

I have to add to this some. John and I have been discussing this piece. He did a great job restoring it. Will make him a nice one for sure. I have two Erie skillets. I have cooked in both but they are retired now and are going to be kept separate. Like some of my even older gate marked iron. this collecting bug is sinking it's teeth even deeper into me. Caught our Rio grand cutthroat in a stream in southern Colorado. Actually it was genetic pure we were told. Had to drive through the Sand dunes national monument to get there. Driving our Pickup truck with overhead camper on the back. Did not let air out of tires like recommended to get back to the spot. Let me tell you the pucker factor was off the scale. Isolated primitive campgrounds back there. Spent the night and out again next morning same pucker factor going out. Narrow road with very few pull outs. We had some funny looks from the jeep and buggy drivers on the road. You get fined big time for getting stuck and blocking the road. AAAhhhh the memories!
