  1. I can go Monday if you want to come over to Cape Fair.

  2. As usual I have made more than I can use. There are 5-6 dozen in sizes from 1/8 to 3/8 with hooks from 1/0 to 4/0. They are Gamakatsu and Eagle claw. I’ll take $25 plus shipping or local pickup.
  3. It was a great day to be able to enjoy the Ozark’s outdoors. The camaraderie was great. The weather was perfect. The foliage is getting really pretty. The fishing was good for this time of year and the weather guessers missed the wind forecast. Who could ask for more. Thanks Jeff.
  4. Your floor plan and mine were the same. That is what we called it and all of our boats came with motors and trolling motors installed except for Lund they only came as a bare boat, trailers had to be ordered separately. I was unaware of all the changes.
  5. What are you calling a floor plan boat?
  6. I have found them to be hit and miss, mostly miss, but I will take them when I can get them.
  7. 66°
  8. I thought it was time for my few spots but I was wrong. We fished for 3 hours for 3 crappie. The wind was driving me nuts so I put the crappie rods away and pulled out the white bass stuff. We were in the Lindley with a north wind. Pom would have more wind so we headed there. I stopped at the windiest spot that I could find and we caught 20 nice ones. We hit several other places catching a few here and there. We ended up close to the 83 boat dock and called it quits on #45.

  10. I talked to a guy today who was catching them on spinner baits and square bills. He also said he had several keeper muskies on spinner baits down by the dam.
  11. I took Jeff today. There was no one at the ramp. It was very foggy so we fished several places as the fog lifted. We found our fish in rocks with timber. Last week my neighbor and I had 20 on gravel. They were 6-10’ deep. We caught them on worms and jigs. Jeff tried a buzzer but got no love. We caught 14 with 4 keepers. We had lmb, smb, and spots. Water was 68° and the air was 44-66°.

    Maybe

I’ve had 5 hand surgeries and the surgeon doesn’t even want me in the boat let alone handling fish until he gives the Okay. He says the few extra days are nothing compared to fighting an infection.

    Maybe

I’m betting that the doctor doesn’t want you anywhere near that water until you are checked and have the stitches removed.
  14. I always thinned mine after they were done bearing. I never did anything in the fall.
  15. Andy there wasn’t a top water bite in our area. We both used them and even had a blowup. Thanks for the trip Jeff. I enjoyed it.

  17. You might find the owner on the Table Rock Facebook page.
  18. And here I thought it was a test of Hugo Chavez’s Jewish lasers.
  19. One of my friends had it. He said he never had any pain and was back in the boat fishing in less than a month.
  20. I don’t know about Johnny Cash but I have been to the museum twice. It is quite a place.
  21. Wow I sure am glad that I have some reasonable, reputable, friendly techs to do all of my electronic and electrical work. With back and rib issues I can no longer install or remove a series 31 agm. So I don’t mind paying to have it done.
  22. I have a Merc. I use 2 additives Quickare and Quickleen along with 91 ethanol free. That is what was recommended by my comes by Merc technician. My last Merc was still going strong after 14 years and lots of hours and my current one is starting year 8.
  23. Sorry to hear that. From the fall or lymph node?
  24. They are on the way to their new home in KY.
  25. Steve I went today. My neighbor and I had 22 with over half smallmouth up to 2.5#. The smallies were super shallow. Much of the time we were in less than 6 fow. Elaztech was best in watermelon candy. We launched at Hartley. I can pm you particulars if you want.
