  1. Really nice one there.
  2. You are the man and a tough one I might add.
  3. Check the lake levels. They could be in flood stage discharging lots of water into the rivers.

    Say What

We see armadillos and ground hogs we shoot them because of the damage that they do. We normally leave them for the eagles, buzzards and yotes but if you guys want to eat them, I’ll pm you and let you know where you can come and pick them up.
  5. After the ice storm a few years ago we bought a generator and hired an electrician to set it up. He wired it into the breaker box and has a box on the back of our house so if the power goes out we can move the generator to the box, throw the electric input main breakers (so we can’t accidentally kill power line repair men), pull the connecting cord out, plug in the generator and fire it up. Our generator is not big enough for the whole house at once so we have to selectively control other breakers. Having it done by a qualified person is a must and can keep you from killing someone.
  6. The ones you find with a Google search aren’t worth installing as far as I am concerned. Mine came from Scott and Brad at Marine Repair Center in Springfield. If they have one I sure they would ship it to you. Give them a call 1-417-933-9191.
  7. It has been my experience that the shad congregate along the bluffs in the late fall and winter. Sometime in the winter they head to open water. I assume it has to do with the food supply.
  8. Your wires should not be running down the same side of the boat as the trolling motor wires. If you can’t get it to stop you may need a ferrite choke. I had to do it with a motor guide and Lowrance several years ago. I have kept it and install it on every trolling motor since.
  9. Fluke if I may offer you some advice, quit reading articles and pick one area of the lake. Study maps and fish that area learning productive places. Then you can branch out and learn other areas.
  10. I have dozens of lead balls with eye screws in them. I put paper clips on them for plug knockers. I use them on crank baits. They work maybe 6 out of 10 times. The rest of the time they join the bait. As for jigs, worms, tubes and Neds I never even try to get them. I just break them off and go on.
  11. I don’t know about the springs but I have been fishing the rip rap for many years. However it hasn’t been very productive in the last few years. There used to be big walleye caught down there on windy March days. If you are going to use bottom baits like jigs or tubes be sure to bring several. Sometimes I have fished it without losing a bait and sometimes I have left several. Cranks and jerks can sometimes be the ticket. Crabtree Cove is the closest launch on the East side and Stockton Public use on the west. Be advised that it can get rough as the wind has an unobstructed run for 8-10 miles if it is out of the south.
  12. What am I missing? I can’t do the math here. If she lost her job would you only be down $100/month?
  13. That is an understatement. I’m not sure many fishermen visit here.
  14. What your caller probably didn’t understand was outside during a pre game show there was some black history references including songs, after all about 90% of the players are black.
  15. If you want a ride in a Nitro Z20 we can make that happen.
  16. I don't know why you would want to freeze lungs when you are always getting road kill.
  17. I’ve never shot a full auto but I have developed loads for a variety of rifles of different calibers. I have shot thousands of rounds from a bench rest and don’t remember 2 in the same hole from any of them, even the ones that would shoot sub minute groups. Guys at the club couldn’t do it with rail guns.
  18. He wasn’t talking about groups. It was 2 in the same hole which has an exponentially higher degree of difficulty than a group.
  19. I assume that was redneck hog hunting and not a government sponsored event.
  20. I haven't heard of them. I'd be interested to know more about them. Do you know what company they use for motors? Do you keep your boat at the house or down at a dock?

    Bad Boys

I agree that looks rather large for a lamb. How many years old was that thing? I had my wife's 3 year old yews butchered. They didn't look any bigger than that one,
  22. There is no federal law governing hallucinations.
  23. Do you think they would try for head shots or just body shots? Do you know what weapons they use?
  24. At what range?
  25.
