  1. I can’t see anyone claiming to have done that if he hadn’t.
  2. One was unlucky at the farm today. She will be lunch for buzzards tomorrow.

  4. Wow I hope he is able to get back to normal. I’ve been down that road it is long and hard.
  5. For me it was carp down at the creek with a British 303.
  6. 30 boat derby out of Mill Creek starting tome 07:30 is all close listing. My guess is holiday traffic…why I choose to stay home.
  7. Most of the fish we caught in Maze were smallmouth. They are all over the lake. I don’t know what boat you will be in. I suggest that you check out the wind and then plan your lake arm and launch site. The weather guessers were calling for wind the last time I heard. Good luck.
  8. They are seldom fish for me at Stockton. Some days on the Rock they are practically all that I can find.
  9. That is the rule under which we operate, in sight, in range, dead.
  10. The lake is ten feet high. There are bushes and trees standing in the water. The bass that I have found are in the brush. There has been no pattern concerning coves or points. You can hit a stretch and find a few then maybe go a long ways before you get another bite. The fish haven’t been coming up for any kind of bait. The Ned rig on a 1/16 oz head has worked better than anything else. Some of the bushes have been covered long enough that moss is becoming an issue. The fish have been in 1-3 feet of water but the bite has been best when the boat is in 12-15’. Both smallmouth and largemouth have been there but not spots. They have disappeared.
  11. In the little Sac at Cedar Ridge visibility was about 2’. Up in Maze maybe 3’.
  12. They would ship safer in a pvc tube.
  13. I thought you weren’t supposed to drive.
  14. The weather guessers said east wind to 7 mph. I wanted to look at some stuff in the little Sac and fish some steep timber banks with craws and shaky. So we went to Cedar Ridge. It was cloudy and cold. When we arrived the wind was ripping. The banks I wanted to hit were directly in the wind. I looked around east to Turkey creek and found nothing that I liked so headed west. We fished to Masters and gave that side of the lake up. We crossed and moved to Maze where you could at least feel your bait. Nothing except a junebug Ned would work. The fish were deep in the brush. Some got off and we only boated 7. Most were smallmouth and none were keepers. After 5 hours I put out the fire and called the dogs.
  15. Steve were you trolling for walleye in the Little Sac at Stockton today?
  16. That sounds like a deal. Let’s get the holiday past and let the weather settle. Maybe mid next week.
  17. The way I read it it does if it has a trolling motor.
  18. You don’t suppose that he is a distant cousin to Blunt do you?
  19. Thank you Mr. Straw Hat. I could never explained it so eloquently.
  20. That doesn’t mean an average level. I don’t know how it was determined. I just know that if it is greater than 867 it is up. Panfisher may be able to explain it to you as he works for the COE at Pomme de Terre.

  22. What we found last trip were in the bushes. I’m going to try the Little Sac next time there are some 30° banks which should have some fish as well as some timber. Weedless Ned and weedless shaky were all we could catch them on.
  23. Why in the world aren’t you fishing for real fish? You should be after the small mouths at Stockton and giving us reports.🤣 Nice day.
  24. Checking the USGS data it is slowing coming down It is only about 10’ up. I hope we don’t get a bunch of rain.
  25. Oak sawdust that hasn’t “cured” is very likely to bind up your nitrogen. Older is better.
