I'm requesting your thoughts and prayers.
TRRANGER replied to Daryk Campbell Sr's topic in Support Forum
Congrats on recovering from a terrible accident. I joined this thread really late but since reading through it I have been praying for strength and healing for you and all involved. Glad the creek goal has been met and am sure any challenges you meet in the future will be hurdled and handled. Amen and Tight Lines. TR -
bracket 2.pdfbracket 2.pdfI could not find what I was looking for as I wanted my graph over the pedal but 9" off the deck. I wanted it higher so I could see it easier, it is not much higher than my trolling motor. I have an 87 Ranger and the side rail is 5 inches above the deck which is built different than todays new boats. I have a Garmin 10" graph, so I got a piece of flat bar 3" wide from Wheeler metal 10' for $26.00 and a buddy and I spent a relaxing afternoon drinking a few adult beverages in the shop and built exactly what I was wanting. 3" is the exact width of the factory bracket on the Garmin so it worked out very well. After bolting through the floor of my boat it was a solid as a rock. If I it breaks I will have bigger issues than needing a new graph mount as I will be replacing the front half of my boat. Took a couple of test fits by standing on the deck to get it to be exactly what I was looking for but for $26 bucks and bottle of whiskey we built a pretty nice mount. Had a friend powder coat it and I think it will last for ever. He told me that he was going to make it be pink, I told him that was fine as long as it was free.😁 I am secure and figured to save 200 bucks I could rock a pink bracket, it turned out to be an off white and it looks fine and worked even better. bracket 2.pdf

Phil, I used Dell at Aurora Canvas in Battlefield. Super People. I had a cover built for my 87 Ranger 360v. It is now 2 years old and has worked flawlessly. They were not the cheapest but it fits like my original 87 Ranger built cover does.

Envious of your wing shooting location and the excellent table fare you have acquired. Awesome job guys eliminating those pesky quackers.

That is way cool way to harvest an animal and to preserve the arrow as a trophy to remember the hunt by. Awesome Billet, Kudos to you.

I have read this entire thread and agree with many of the thing said, but my take away is that it is amazing to me that there is a market for selling armadillo poop. First that there is someone willing to buy it but much less someone willing to collect, package and sell armadillo poop. Who Knew? 😵

I have a Helix 9 that I am needing a side imaging transducer, not for the new mega SI imaging the older SI version.

These same people are allowed to vote on how our country runs.🤪 Hundreds of years ago the Indians hunted and fished all day, no taxes, great eating and we white men thought we could improve on that system. As Forest said Stupid is as Stupid does.

Recommendations For Bass Boat On LOZ's Rough Water
TRRANGER replied to SJB's topic in Lake of the Ozarks
My buddy has 2019 Ranger Z521 21 ft Bass Yacht, compared to my 87 Ranger 360V and he told me that the Phoenix has the best ride out there in rough water, he also fishes out of Caymas as well, and says they both ride well but not as good as the Phoenix . I have ridden in a Phoenix 721 Pro XS and an 819 Pro and those boats were really amazing. I have also rode in in Z519 Ranger that was a sweet ride but still not as nice as the Phoenix. If I could go buy any boat I think the only option for me would have to be Phoenix fast smooth storage for days and ride better than any other I have been in. -
I know I have heard about a large line sale that Bass Pro has and was wondering if anyone was in the know on when that particular event took place. Thank you for the help.

That was my thinking, and 35 years is what it would take me to pay for that new rig that i could not still fish out of. I know what your saying about being obsolete on parts. I am in the automotive parts business and we are find parts obsolete after 5 or 6 years, Much less 35 like my ranger.

Cedar Strip Canoe in process.
TRRANGER replied to Daryk Campbell Sr's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
Both of those are artwork, I would be afraid to scratch it after that many hours spent building them. Amazing work guys. -
So do you think that in 35 years boats built today will still be being fished out of.
-
You fish out of a vintage Ranger Red and Silver that is a beautiful ride. I cant remember the year. I have an 87 360V single console 175 Merc, single axle trailer. Was a high end boat in its day, had in-dash and bow mounted flashers Lowrance. Factory custom cover, carpeted boxes, the handle rails and all. Everything works, if I was to install new flasher transducers they would work but someone cut the cords for who knows why. A guy I work with were looking at the NEW Ranger 55th Anniversary Edition 521R Limited Edition 300 Merc Power poles, 3 12 Lowrance graphs, live target, heated seats, heated steering wheel, air ride seats and more electrical gadgets than you could mention, $114,000. This made me wonder what my boat sold for when new? I was also wondering what the chances are that that New $114,000 boat will be still being able to be fished out of in 35 years from now in 2057 and have everything working or everything able to be repaired with parts that could be purchased. I am not saying mine is all original parts have been replaced, when possible directly from Ranger, or by getting the parts that Ranger bought, ie flowrite valves. No my boat aint the prettiest or the fastest but I can still catch fish, I have upgraded the trolling motor, and the graphs, added hydraulic steering and a few other items, and other than not handling rough water like that 22 foot bass yacht I think I can fish with most everyone and be competitive. Any input or thought welcomed. TR

Yes it is, I am running an 87 360V 175 Merc. Used to be that pretty but 15 years of solid 3 to 4 days a week has worn out my gel on the top cap. Upgraded trolling motor to an ultrex and soon to have a garmin live upgrade. She can catch them. Ain't the fastest but fish can't swim over 60.

What Ranger is that in that picture?
