  1. I fished the dam area Saturday as well and it was the worst I have seen in a long time. It felt to me like trying to fish LOZ in May or being on Stockton or Truman when a mouse sneezes in the right direction. We did keep saying if the wind would pick up it might generate a better bite, as you know the wind is your friend. I took a beating in my 18 Ft Ranger.
  2. Beautiful smallie, that's a toad for sure.
  3. I have a new never installed Garmin GT54UHD-TM Transducer for sale. On Garmin website it lists for $369.99. I am asking $250.00 or best offer, will ship for actual shipping cost. Am not using on my install just trying to get funds for the new Livescope transducer and module set. Timmy 417-880-7466 Call or text
  4. Thank you guys for the searching and leads, found after some investigation the failure was not as catastrophic as initially thought. All cylinders had even compression but found the main shaft bearing seized and a cracked lower unit case. Still bad but better than 5 to 7 grand.
  5. Just hope it lands softly, Yamaha is an option as well.
  6. Thank you for info. All help is appreciated and any lead will be checked in. Thanks guys
  7. Wrench, I am aware of your feelings on Mercury engines. But I am looking for a used 175 / 200 Mercury motor. I have an 87 Mercury now that has run flawlessly till today, and she has decided to have a catastrophic failure. 1987 to 2000 is the general vintage I am trying to find. I am willing to look at salvage yards if you know of any or complete boat that might have good motor. Any help greatly appreciated. Any other forum member that might be in the know on this your help would be appreciated as well.
  8. I have used these people, they are located in Springfield MO. You can save shipping cost by dropping it off at there Sunshine Street facility, they fixed a screen that had delaminated and fell out on a Helix 9. No issues or problems. Good people to deal with and had a quick turn around.
  9. I thought I was safe as long as I was not on Table Rock, 😁 Champ I promise to stay off your selected banks and always return your pets to their home. Just a kiss a picture and a thank you for stretching my line. abkeenan, I am more than willing to pay the " dues " just let me know where to send, I am also not a Jayhawk fan does that get me access?
  10. I do not know who is running it since his passing, but Bo has designed an amazing product that I am sure his people will maintain the high standards he has set forth.
  11. I would look into Nutech Jigs, they are local business that builds a great jig.
  12. I just want to tell you guys about a local business that is advertising on the forum. Jigs4Bass, Mike, he is an awesome guy and builds an amazing product at an even better price. I saw his add and looked up his website, looked it over and made an order. They just arrived and the chatterbaits he made are unbelievable in quality and workmanship. Wire tied by hand premium components full skirts that flare in water. I just got them in today and went to the river on lunch to test one out. they are as nice as a $15 jackhammer but only cost $4.00. Painted heads super sharp hooks, silicone skirts wire tied and oring to flare the skirt. After getting these in I inquired about a custom spinnerbait color and special blades, his response absolutely no problem, this head with this skirt color add in this accent color on top this color on bottom and special skirt material this blade exactly what I wanted no problem what ever you want was what He said. No extra charge for custom work. I have never met Mike but I will be buying from him in the future and highly recommend him for all your guys needs. He has a fast turn around from order to delivery as well. Also very reasonable shipping rates. Could not ask for a better transaction.

  14. Yes, it is mostly trim option and badges. Depending on the year it makes the difference in options available. GMC has a red back light on the interior and Chevy has a blue back light on things. Any yes Bowties are cooler. 😎 GMC = Gay Mans Chevrolet.
  15. I agree, TFO rods are top quality and reasonably priced. I have 8 or 9 of them and several that are 8 or 9 years old and have fished them very hard.
  16. I personally love them and love to catch fish on them, it is one of my favorite ways to catch bass. I do spend time weighting and have multiple ways to have them present, head up head down and flat suspend or sink and rise depending on the mood of the fish. Spro McStick and an old Excalibur that I cant find any more of are all good fish catching options. I cant bring myself to pay that kind a money for a megabass. Landed some big fish in winter on 8 lb florocarbon and RC jerkbaits.
  17. I waited on a windshield for 76 days from order to delivery, luckily when it arrived it was in one piece, had to order 3 in order to get one on another job we had going.
  18. I told them almost the same thing, it was a younger lady and she said I would get a ticket. When I left that afternoon there was an older lady driving around on a golf cart she was just as nice as could be asked if I had a good day smiled and drove on. No ticket but have never been back since that week.
  19. ME TOO ARE YOU OFFERING TO COOK THOSE OF US DEER FREINDLY FOLKS DINNER
  20. According to the people at Long Creek our Corp Ramp Pass is not longer accepted and you have to pay to use the Corp built ramp at Long Creek. So if he "owns" the ramp we paid for I guess he "Can Do" what ever he wants is a correct statement. It just shows money talks and none of have enough money to be heard. He has forgotten who made him his money, fisherman, not tourists.
  21. What model is this or what units is it comparable with. How old is it.
  22. Sorry to hear that, Bo get well soon. Prayers for healing and for the doctors to make the best decisions in your interest.
  23. I am looking to take my son fishing for some trout on lower Taney in the powersite area. Was going to get some power bait, hooks and fish off the docks at Empire Park. Just teaching him to cast, he has the patience to sit and fish just not done any yet. Wanting to know what hook size and colors would work good. Have read a small treble will work just curious. It has been over 30 years since i trout fished and that was in Roaring river state park so I just need a little direction. Thanks in advance. I know power bait is cheating from you purest trout guys but just trying get him interested.
  24. Sorry you had trouble Bill. I like you am at the mercy of the "Timely Manner" The timely manner problem is far from just being an issue with boat parts, the auto industry is struggling getting parts and supplies for repairs as well as even getting new cars to sell. Backorder is the name of the game, sometimes its weeks to get what we are needing with no signs of it getting better anytime soon.
  25. Getting to fish even on bad catching day is far better than being stuck at work reading fishing reports.
