  1. They are very curious birds. I had a few days were they would swim under my boat fast and around 10-15 feet deep. I actually bought a loon call (4 different calls) in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. It looks like a birch flute and sounds just like a Loon. I am now able to communicate with the swimmers as to where the bass are hanging out in the lake. From one Loon to another. . . lol
  2. I bought the biggest AGM at Sams this year as a starting battery . I think the graph run on the starter battery. So I bought a new Battery box- attwood- it did not fit in my 98 Ranger. I had to cut the old battery box/holder to fit the new battery and use straps to hold down. Just a thought.
  3. Take the Ferry to Washington Island at the End of Sturgeon Bay and stay on the Island.. or Fish > Little Bay De Noc to the North... >>>***Big Bay De Noc- You might see 5 boats all day during the week. Fall Salmon run the creeks and rivers too in the Fall. You probably will find some good vids on Youtube.
  4. I heard we might get some freezing rain tonight on Mt.. Baldknobber. That runoff might be the Big trout active. Much better B.S. than some of the previous posts. . . . 🙉 > 🍴
  5. Just a Wonderful Report and your details will help some rookie Trout Fisherman...
  6. I am looking for new Boat Hats.I will any Ranger Mesh back Hats especially White. I will buy from 3 hats to a whole box. I might also buy any mesh Hats with a Bass on the hat. Tackle shops, Marines, resorts or other Boat Manufacturers. Turn those free Tournament hats into cash. Thanks !! Help a Bald Fisherman out. Basscaster1@sbcglobal.net
  7. It was at the Engler Block, I also saw a piece in Springfield at another Gallery. If anyone knows of some great fish carvers. Post their names/website here. Thanks for trying to help me.
  8. I lived in the Ozarks in the early 90's. There was a real good wood Fish carver that made fish scenes on bases. Example would be a nice hand carved 12 inch smallie eatting a hand carved crawdad in some rocks on a base. These pieces were in the $300/400 range back in the early 1990's. I believe he was from Springfield area and he had a few pieces in a few local art galleries(Gallery in the Butcher Block/Branson) . His name could have been Miller(wild guess) ? If you know of Any real good fish carvers(wood),please post their info. Thanks,Roy
