Sore Thumbs Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Man I must be way low. I've heard its been tough. I forgot that usually means they are catchin em.
kjackson Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Alton Jones says he has at least one spot with some nice fish.... If it rains like as predicted on the first day, then that will change things a bit. Still upper 70s or low 80s would be my guess.
Jerry Rapp Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 read it and weep you low weight guessers. http://www.bassmaster.com/news/abt-may-reveal-winning-patterns-classic but all that this means is it probably will be a 50lb winning weight.
fishingaddiction Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Good read Jerry. Based on that info the weight will be north of 70lbs, if conditions hold up, or if they improve. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
dtrs5kprs Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I was just figuring on a major front. This will probably be the one week there isn't one .
J-Doc Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 If winning weights from locals was 26-32lbs, subtract about 18% and that will be what the Elites find. Someone will stumble upon a winning pattern that will amaze us all. They always do. It's the classic......there is no pressure higher than this. 71.34lbs (repeating of course) That's my guess for winning weight. Then if you throw in the KVD wild card factor, (because he's KVD)... the winning weight would be 76.34lbs. There......I'm locked in. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
