fishinwrench Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I don't believe that is a complete list, as it only mentions minors and people in nursing homes. Exposing yourself to ANYONE can get you on the list, as can helping someone the same age as you out of a swimming pool or into a boat by touching their behind. The days of getting wedgies is gone. Wonder if the statute of limitations would save my brother if I started having wedgie nightmares? LMAO Ya reckon 40 year old wedgies are grandfathered in?
bfishn Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 A couple years ago, Mo. HB1700 attempted to remove sex offender registry requirements for certain non-contact offenses such as indecent exposure. Since the bill fluttered and died, one can assume that (getting caught) peeing on a tree in Missouri can still destroy your life as you knew it. I can't dance like I used to.

Old plug Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 number 7 public display of explicit seveal material. There has to be more to what this means than that. thats maybe where indecent exposure os covered. you beat me to it fins. that is what i was thinking
Mitch f Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 http://www.moga.mo.gov/statutes/chapters/chap566.htm I see a bunch of "knowingly" written in the sentences regarding exposing yourself. Which part are you talking about? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Walleyedmike Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Sexual misconduct, first degree, penalties. 566.093. 1. A person commits the offense of sexual misconduct in the first degree if such person: (1) Exposes his or her genitals under circumstances in which he or she knows that his or her conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm; (2) Has sexual contact in the presence of a third person or persons under circumstances in which he or she knows that such conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm; or (3) Has sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse in a public place in the presence of a third person. 2. The offense of sexual misconduct in the first degree is a class B misdemeanor unless the person has previously been found guilty of an offense under this chapter, in which case it is a class A misdemeanor. (L. 1994 S.B. 693, A.L. 2004 H.B. 1055, A.L. 2013 H.B. 215) Subsection 1 of paragraph 1 is the closest thing I've found that could maybe be construed from public urination, which was also included among many other statutes in F&F's link. But, this is a misdemeanor crime and the SOR website refers to registration required for felony convictions of crimes in this section. I wish I knew a prosecutor or judge in MO that I could ask for their legal opinion, but I don't. That being said, I do respect the opinion of many who have posted here, best be careful when answering nature's call. WM
Old plug Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 That (1) exposes is pretty broad. I think it is left to the cop or whoever makes the pinch. you almost cannot beat it.
grizwilson Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I heard of two guys that were issued tickets by the Conservation Agent for urinationg in public. They were urinating behind a tree at the lake. That is considered an indecent public display, Both were added to the sex offenders list. I have heard that Springfield Police do the same thing to drunks who urinate in public. I was wondering if that was true about the Conservation Agents. Anyone ever hear of this? Posted this on the Crappie.com Missouri Site, as they have "Ask the Conservation Agent" fourm, here is the reply from MOfishmgr: "Our Protection staff confirmed that discretion would be considered. If you're standing on the end of the dock at a busy ramp relieveing yourself you'd get written up! Maybe a good rule of thumb would be if you wouldn't go there if your grandmother was around, find a different spot!" g “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
Members Butthead Posted March 1, 2014 Members Posted March 1, 2014 My buddy was switching gas tanks in the boat and unknown to him, he had spilled some gas on his arm. When he lite up a cigarette, it started his shirt sleeve on fire. We went tearing for the boat launch with his shirt a blazing and a couple of conservation officers arrested him for displaying an illegal firearm. Don't know if he has to register with ATF but could be.
MeatintheFreezer Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Lucky it didn't blow up and knock him out of the boat or they could have gotten him for leaving the scene of an accident, too ! Remember - If at first you DO succeed, try not to act surprised & quit while you're ahead.
