Quillback Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Good luck out there! Looking forward to hearing how you do, I may get out there tomorrow.
Ham Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Man, I am wondering how many you would own if you LIKED to fish CB's! Dave scared the crap out of me when he mentioned how much Elaztech and flurocarbon line he buys a year. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
fishingaddiction Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Dave, that is one hell of a wart collection, but I realize that is just your stand by box in case the crank is the ticket. I don't know how you could possibly carry your gear in your boat, and still be able to get it out of the hole. Your finesse stuff alone would require one or two full compartments in you're boat! ha ha. You had better make a deal with Bill to not send the pic to your wife. On the other hand if she is like my better half, she gave up trying to monitor the amount of tackle I buy a long time ago. We have been married 32 years, so I guess that proves my point. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
magicwormman Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Dave, you are my new hero!!!! Looking at your wart collection makes my sickness look a little better. I have about 70 warts that are pre-rapala. I've sold many on Ebay and if the price keeps climbing, I might sell them all.
rps Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 The man needs a prepaid membership to Crankbaits Anonymous. He is broke and can't pay it himself because of the expense of hiring gun bearers to take his boxes to the boat.

Well it's a big boat. She actually surprised me today...2 full tanks, full wells, tackle, my fat butt, and just shy of 68 GPS on a short run (only time I ran all day).
dtrs5kprs Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 And the wife is well aware of the fish room. I was a bass club president when we met, so this is much better, all things considered.
Members Rob Shaw Posted April 17, 2014 Members Posted April 17, 2014 Here's 2 of the customs my father and law and I used on the 3 days leading up to the Elite tournament on Table Rock...we caught a bunch!
Champ188 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Good lookin' baits, Rob. No surprise you caught 'em on those.
Travis Swift Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 so this is a silly question but i stopped by a tackle store here in kansas yesterday and the guy showed me the Luck E Strike G5 which looked just like a wart. He said they are made to be like the old wart including the duller sound. They were basically sold out on all but one of them. So before i go to buying some what are your guys opinons on them?
