ness Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Sister in law, who is an excellent cook, made this peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake. That thing on top is a chocolate rabbit that would have been better photographed from a different angle 🤪 Ryan Miloshewski, Daryk Campbell Sr, BilletHead and 2 others 2 3 John
Flysmallie Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Is that a chocolate suppository? Oh wait…never mind…. BilletHead, nomolites and ness 3
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Lately, dinners have been very repetitive or simple. Last night was nearly the same. But ive been needing something to post, @nessgave the nudge, so.... I present nacho salad plates. Base layer of chips of your choice. Wife wanted Doritos, I had Tostitos rounds. Next layer was a bagged taco salad from Walmart. Then taco meat, cheese, and whatever extras you prefer. Turned out really good, but I forgot black olives. nomolites, ness, Flysmallie and 1 other 4 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. BilletHead Posted April 8 Posted April 8 The Easter Bunny was served for Easter, as in not served dinner but was the main course. We had a friend get in touch with us asking if we would like a meat rabbit. Sure we said. When we picked it up I was like woah it's a big one. I had young fryer in mind. How much oh nothing we butchered some and this was extra. Good folks and we sometimes just do for each other. I had restored a deep hammered Chicago foundry skillet and gave it to her last fall. Easter dinner we thought and we began to get it ready. This could of fed four at least. I'm telling you it was very meaty. Needed to be braised. She had told us that the one this sized they fixed was good but a bit tough. They are new at raising rabbits. We decided to do garlic rabbit but before always subbed three to four old tough squirrels. All browned and onions cooked down a couple bay leaves then into the oven for 2.5 hours. Oh baby this was off the charts in our opinion. Maverickpro201 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 I cannot have Mashed Potatoes. That is what the wife says. Have a friend in Texas that gives me Tame Rabbits once in a while. They are 50% grown and always tasty. I do like wild rabbit better though.
ness Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 Got this idea off'n the internet. French dip with canned consommé and French onion soup as the dip part, deli beef warmed in the soup. A nice roll sliced open and very lightly toasted with provolone. We'll do this again. Nick Adams, rps and BilletHead 3 John

The pairings of the tot rounds, ketchup (that could be siracha ketchup) and beer is intriguing. ness 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!"
