           It is hot but you still have to eat,

 Grilled whole deer tenderloins, grilled straight neck yellow squash, sliced big rainbow tomato and cucumber and onion. A splash of balsamic vinegar on the squash makes it interesting too,

I've had the itch for chile verde, so picked up some stuff and threw some together today. No recipe, just going by feel here. Roasted chiles and tomatillos, pork, onion, cumin, coriander, chicken base, diced tomatoes.  

Served with some queso fresco and a dollop of sour cream. 

Itch scratched.

May look like a copy cat post compared to BH's post earlier. However I started marinating my chicken at 2:30 pm this afternoon. My marinade consisted of minced garlic, fresh ginger, thai chili peppers (thanks BH), sliced jalapeno, galena spice, dried basil, teriyaki sauce, and white wine vinegar. I grilled the chicken. The zucchini and summer squash (Folly farm raised squash). were coated with olive oil, galena spice, salt and pepper. Grilled those slices with the chicken and then burst the cherry tomatoes on the grill. Topped the vegetables with a little balsamic

Finally got a few minutes to make the ole cukes,maters and onions.  Added a few sprigs of dill because I like it.  Sadly as I tasted it to see how it was going I came to the realization that the last few days of fighting with some sort of sinus thing that I cannot taste bupkiss.  However my wife has pronounced it edible.

Simple does it tonight. Cold roasted chicken with sriracha cream dipping sauce and tabbouleh.
