Using what I’ve got and keeping it healthy...cod filet with lemon pepper, zucchini and onion sautéed, and lentils in chicken stock with a bay leaf. About a tablespoon of vegetable oil to make all this happen.

It’s a repeat with different protein.

Should have cropped a little better in that upper right corner. Bumped up the exposure just a tad and tried to do something about those shadows.

I carefully photographed tonight's meal to avoid triggering any of you with at home comfort wear.

Lamb rack with a lentil side dish featuring vegetables and garlic. Salad with home made peppercorn dressing.

Good morning all.

I just put a heavily salted and peppered boneless pork loin in the refrigerator to air brine for a bit. This afternoon it will go into a 137 degree sous vide bath. I will sear it just before serving. I plan to roast small potatoes and saute burst cherry tomatoes with diced zucchini for side dishes.

I have also prepped for tomorrow's meal, slow cooker vegetable beef and barley soup.

After my nap I may have to bake some bread. If the pork looks good I will put up pictures.

I did a pretty righteous tri tip yesterday.  Fire only.  Applewood smoked.  It was real pretty when I sliced it - that just right dark pink and very juicy.  Had Italian green beans and garlic mashed potatoes for sides.

Threw two chicken breasts on the egg along with the tri tip.  Thinking ahead for chicken pot pie tonight.

Nobody ever criticizes my pictures.
