MOPanfisher Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Seems like we never show breakfast. Since I had to get up early to get my wife off to her deer stand I decided to make breakfast for myself and mom. Cinnamon pancakes, half with raspberry preserves and the other half with syrup. Link sausages and a couple over easy eggs so they ooze everywhere when cut into. Daryk Campbell Sr, tho1mas, ness and 4 others 7

I don’t think there’s a darn thing wrong with a shortcut. Its a choice. Doing your own crust could triple the time and effort. And, the rolled crusts are a pretty darn good shortcut. John
jdmidwest Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Best Turkey Breast I have ever cooked. Walmart bacon wrapped half turkey breast, pkg Lipton onion soup, pkg frozen seasoning mix(onions, celery, peppers), cup chicken broth. Instant pot for 30 minutes high, 20 minutes bleed off. Mashed taters and green beans with cream cheese. That turkey is moist and melts in the mouth, buttery smooth and flavorful. Melts in the mouth is a plus since the radiation and 2 cancer surgeries took most of the salivary glands. But I still have some taste buds. Happy 4TH year for me!! Cancer + 4 for me.... rps, BilletHead, Mitch f and 4 others 7 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Fish24/7 Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 I haven't made anything worth posting lately. Been eating out A Lot more these days . I stopped in at Skippers in Mtn Home for the first time ever. Have driven past there a thousand times but never tried it. Glad I did! Had the catfish, got the 5 piece so Id have a snack for later that night. Well I ate all 5 pieces in the restaurant lol and ordered a 3 piece to go. I can eat some fish! Had a side salad instead of a potato, amazing hush puppies imo, some of the best I've ever had. Crispy outside, soft inside not doughy or tough, bits of onion and just a hint of sweetness, could have been the onion IDK. Some thick slices of white onion and dill pickle spears, and some pickled green tomatoes too. Why order fish in a restaurant when you have fish in the freezer at home? Because your stomach says Pull Over ------- I'm Hungry! Mitch f, snagged in outlet 3 and Gavin 3
