MOPanfisher Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Having a retirement party for a good friend at work, spend tonight making a double batch of Jambalaya, always good always popular. Meats include a pound of spicy pork sausage, a pound of polish sausage, a package of chicken thighs diced up, 4 cans of oysters. Tomorrow will get more chicken stock to offset the amount the rice soaks up, 3 bags of shrimp, and a large pa kage of imitation crab meat. (I love that stuff) short of meat it aint. rps, ness, Terrierman and 3 others 6

Gavin Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Was our turn in the barrel for my family’s Christmas party. We are a small clan, and great to see the cousins, aunts, & uncles. Was a good time! Cleaning up the rest of aftermath is tomorrow’s job. Mitch f, snagged in outlet 3 and Daryk Campbell Sr 3

ness Posted December 23, 2019 Author Posted December 23, 2019 Family friend and Scot Mrs. Gilfedder used to make shortbread for us each year at Christmas. When she passed I picked up the torch. My dad loved it and I’ve been making for at least 30 years now. Butter, sugar and flour. Used Kerrygold butter this year. Seems to make a difference. Look at it versus Land O’Lakes on the right: Had a taste for Cajun tonight so did Shrimp Etoufee. Good stuff BilletHead and Terrierman 2 John
