In case you didn't know..... Frickalopotini is tampons fried in a buttery shampoo sauce, and served over a bed of kitty litter.

Okay so we had a special last week and I picked up a cauliflower. I was thinking about a beef and broccoli except I have venison and cauliflower . I picked up some snow peas and put it together. I sliced the venison thinly and coated the meat well with soy sauce, ground ginger, and cornstarch. I browned the meat over med/high heat and removed it from the pan and set it aside. I added olive and canola oil to the pan and cooked the cauliflower florets. after cooking for a couple of mins I added sliced sweet onion and snow peas and cooked until the onions were translucent. Added minced garlic (three cloves) and minced fresh ginger. cooked about a minute or two and added back in the meat. Once heated, I added the sauce (mixture of soy sauce, corn starch, and sambal chili paste) to the pan. Once the sauce thickened, checked the seasoning, and served it on jasmine rice. Had a side of fried pork dumplings (store bought not hand made).

Last Sat we picked up a fresh baked caraway rye loaf of bread. Thinking reubens, My Betterhalf began the homemade sauerkraut so that It would be ready by this Friday. On Friday we picked up sliced corned beef and aged swiss from the deli. I cooked the corned beef and sauerkraut first.

Then assembled and cooked the sandwiches. Golden mustard and Russian dressing were the condiments of choice. Served with baked beans.

Before pick of some venison tenderloins, tenderizer and seasoned before their date with the cast iron skillet.

And the after pic, got them a bit more done that I like but them little rascals is tough to sear without overcooking, and they were not up to room temp first either, but still tasty.  Wife added some cheesy corn and green beans.
