Yes for the most part, However I'm a bit grown up now I'll tolerate them to a certain extent.... Shoot, I'd eat the posterior out of a skunk if I had too without much of a complaint given certain circumstances. 

But there is some deep psychological response in me that happens when I see them, or hear their name.

It must have been the casseroles Mom use to make... You know, the ones with the hotdogs cut and placed around the edge of the Dish!....Not my favorite dinner but mom Bless her heart made it.... so I ate it...(I just deposited those little green pills in the tupperware cup)

My Grandfather had a produce farm and I worked on a 240 acre produce farm all through HS.
Fresh from the garden was fine/tolerable...... as soon as you cook it I was done..... I will tolerate them now...but dont like them nor do I seek them out... I know its weird seeing how green is my favorite color and for all intents and purposes Corn is the same consistency, just yellow and squishy insides.. But I love me some corn!!! Go figure.

Still... there would be wrasltin match if you were to force me to have pea soup :x_x:

Dude!... I had Mushy Peas in England (ya know when in Rome!!!!)...MOST DISGUSTING THING I EVER SAW or TASTED... Sorry to yell just triggered a bad memory!
They were glowing green.. Like the fuel rod that Hommer Simpson brought out of the plant... And they were...

I will note that almost everyone overcook shrimp. They should never be tough. As soon as they turn opaque and pink, get them off the heat.

I'm the same way about fat on a steak of any kind.   I'll pick every little sliver of fat off a pork steak/chop and everyone teases me about it, but I just can't stand the feel of that slimey yuck in my mouth.     I don't think we are actually supposed to consume that part of an animal.

Unsurprising that I am the guy who thinks the bit of seared fat is some of the best stuff,  sort of a natural joint lube.

OK, ......So snow peas are a different "camouflaged" product, they dont really count in my mind!
They dont really have any "peas" in the pod!!!! they are so small compared to the shell!! I feed these to Stormy (Our Parrot) every day! I can eat those cause "they aint peas in my mind"
My Mind being the optimal problem here  :goodjob:!

What???!!!  I'm having a fat ridden cap steak tonight!!!!  Fat doesn't trigger an insulin response.  Best thing you can eat.  I was looking for some big beef bones to have some marrow.  Then the kung flu hit...

Tastes fine.....just feels like a load of jizz in my mouth.   But I guess some guys long for that.  😂
