HAHA, Rat Patrol - Seems like at the end of just about episode they were in their jeeps taking on the same German tank (not a real German tank), circling around it firing their machine guns, eventually the tank would blow up, episode over.  That's about all I remember, haven't seen it in many years.

SIR!  Those were .50 caliber Browning MA2 .  A serious machine gun if there ever was one.

I had one fizzle and fly out of the gun in my sister's bedroom, and ten minutes later in the living room we started smelling smoke.  It burned through her sheet and into the mattress.  Made a fist sized hole in the mattress that we had to dump 2 glasses of water into to put the fire out.    After the mattress dried out my sister had to stuff a couple socks into the hole and flip it over. 😂 

I did not get beat severely about the face and neck, that time, only because Dad was more curious about how I learned to make caps from matches.  He did take the matches and cap gun away from me though.
