OK I'll spill it B)

Stick two of them together (flat to flat with a cig lighter) and rig it sideways.

Sick !

Now we wait for the inevitable reply from the "woe is me" guy who has a new truck and bass boat but claims he can't afford to "waste" Centipedes by sticking two of them together.

I thought I was being slick when I bought a "Wormizer" ($32.00)  years ago, but it didn't take long to figure out that I was now spending more on AA batteries than I would have on more worms and plastics.    A bic lighter does the same job way better anyway.

I love this idea.

French fries are great worms. I caught my biggest bass on one of those little worms.

When at home, I use a regular old cheap-o soldering iron to create the occasional crime against nature looking soft bait.

Those tips on the wormizers are way too fragile.

Oh hell that wouldn't even be close to what you guys call the ned rig. It's a Carolina rigged worm.

I like them flat side down and also use the little number 1 Gammy rigged Texas style.  However, I almost always peg a screw-in Florida type 1/8 oz. bullet sinker.  Until I discovered the Ned, this accounted a vast majority of my lure preference for many years.  Love jigs and spinnerbaits but if the bass aren't liking them I always go back to the centipede and have trouble putting it down due to the confidence factor.

Dang Ned had to go and make things so unnecessarily confusing!
