ollie Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Insert "Jaws" theme here! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

Kayser Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I'm just waiting for someone to go down there with a shark rig and use a 5lb dead asian or live common carp for bait. WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
Old plug Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Kayser------ That be meant as a joke but it is not far from a fact.
mjk86 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 i heard down by the dam catfish get the size of volkswagons. <--------------what you hear everytime you tell someone you dive With eyes the size of trash can lids!
Kayser Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Oh, I know it was a joke. But I've always been curious, just never had the tackle or the time for it. I imagine it would take a full week for the one bite. And unlike fishing the Missouri River, the area for the big one is relatively limited there. WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
