Merc is without a doubt the fastest outboard, and they also strive to be the quickest to get stuff on the market....They always gotta be FIRST. To them it is worth it to operate like that, and apparently all thier faithful followers don't mind. But I do ! merc1997 Bo 1

cheesemaster Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 "Kelly said yesterday we want everyone in and out in a day and never wants to tell a customer, we will have to order that." Sounds like a goal for his business to me, which is what all businesses should have - a goal of customer satisfaction. Not always are the goals met but it is something for his company to strive for. Just my 2 cents and I have never done business with them. Deadstream 1
fishinwrench Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Cheesemaster, I'm sure every repair center WANTS that. In the end it is best to avoid rushing work out though. Surely you agree. Not all repairs are quickie parts swaps, sometimes it takes a little research and some time to think before a situation is fully understood and can be properly rectified. That piece of certification" paper techs have hanging on the wall only means that they held a chair down somewhere for awhile.

Or right NOW" Champ188 1
cheesemaster Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I would not like to be on the receiving end of a rushed job when I am looking for quality and longevity. You are right there.
