Quillback Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Got out late in the morning, launched around 10 AM, had to wait for temps to get up near 40 before exposing my delicate self to the outdoors. Fishing was pretty decent today from a quantity standpoint. Caught 25 total, with only 4 of those being keeper sized. Biggest was a 17" smallie. Most fish were relatively deep, 20 FOW on the bottom was the sweet spot, with a few in closer and a few deeper. About 2/3 of the fish came on a 1/8 oz Ned, the other third on a T-rigged tube. Dragging both slowly on the bottom. A few fish came up and bit on the drop. Chunk rocks banks, rocky points, bluff ends, and docks was where I got most of my bites. Must have been a tourney out of Viney today, about 15 rigs in the Viney lot. Water temp 51-53, water is stained, maybe 5 - 10 feet of viz. Fish24/7, Hammer time, Ham and 3 others 6
