Johnsfolly Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I just picked up my MO 2016-2017 license. So I can begin this year's tally. My big target this year is going to be new species. I'm working on adding 15 new species to the life list this license year. Going small for micros should help. Still want to lip a shadow bass. Ham 1
Ham Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 White Bass, Yellow Bass, Channel Catfish, better RB pic. I've caught a few Browns but too large to get a good picture by myself. Johnsfolly and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Johnsfolly Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 So far since the 3rd; 2016 tally is largemouth bass, black crappie, creek chub, and orangethroat darter. Not too many pictures thus far this year except from a darter trip that I took yesterday with a friend and my daughter. The darters were caught on #20 long shank hooks and one or two worm segments. Her list includes fish that she has also caught by hand; creek chub, orangethroat darter, and blackstriped topminnow (caught with her hands). Ham, Daryk Campbell Sr, Gavin and 3 others 6

I've now added spotted bass (and hybrid spotXsmallie), and a big fat drum to my meager list, plus a big redhorse that I didn't take the time to identify down to species.
Mitch f Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 The only thing I've caught that was weird in my life was a Hellbender on a crank bait. The crank was stuck to his face by his mouth but I kind of doubt he went for it....I think I just snagged him. But he was big and fat. My buddy was afraid he was going to attack us (ha ha) and got uncomfortable when I brought him in the boat. I told him he was a wimp? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
