He's got about as much chance as Bernie had. They will never let him be president. Every citizen in the country could vote for GJ and he would still lose.

hahahahaha......you sound about as pessimistic as me my friend wow!!!! Gary has done a ton of good things

I'm sure he has. But like I said they would never let him win. He would be better off spending his campaign money on hookers and cheetos.

Yep this election sucks no doubt, I've never seen so much middle school behavior in my life. From the size of Trumps hands to a thugs mother and an illegal speaking at a convention. It's WWF all the way.

Yeah -- no room for cop widows though.

This will be the first residential since I turned 18 that I will not vote for any candidate.  However I vote against one.  If this was a list of applicants for a job and I was the selection official I would send it back with the words "good joke, now send me the real list"

I'm breaking my own rule, kinda.  But I will weigh in.  I too don't like anyone who's running.  My vote hinges on who may be appointed to the Supreme Court and how it may look for several generations.  For that reason I can't vote for the progressive candidate.

When it boils down to it, this seems to be one of the most important aspects, if not THE most important for sure.

I'm somewhat voting on the Supreme Court, but also against the Republican platform.  I ain't sure Trump really buys into the platform, but there are some scary things in it.  Advocating selling off "selected" public lands (with no mention of WHICH lands) should scare anybody that hunts and fishes on federal land.

I feel like we've reached the point where the only surprise would be if Ronnie Reagan's re-animated corpse emerged from the grave to sucker-punch the Republican nominee for conspiring with the Russians.  We've reached the Twilight Zone.

As vehemently as I disagree with Republicans on a lot of issues, they were willing to run a fair nomination process.  Party leaders may not be pleased with the selection, but the respect the voters' will enough to hold their noses and see it through.  The DNC chose to abandon that moral ground and I'm not sure their leadership realizes how many bridges they've burned in the process, particularly with younger voters.

I don't understand why Hillary's expending so much energy trying to poach Bernie's supporters instead of making inroads with the moderate Republicans turned off by Trump- it seems like it'd be an easier row to hoe.

I can't vote Trump, given the things he says he believes.  But I do sympathize with the argument that making him president is proof-positive of just how broken our system is.

I hear ya spoondog, I am similar but on the other side.  I know a lot of what Trump claims to want and will do, I also know he doesn't have the authority to do almost any of it, and honestly I am counting on the rest of Congress (can't believe I said that) to keep him under control, the reason I am counting on them is that we as citizens have the ability to flood them with our opinions and more than anything they like to please so them will be re elected.  I would have to stay home before I could vote for HC, and the SCOTUS is ultimately to me more important, their decisions/opinions will affect us for the next 50 years.  I may throw up a little when I vote this time.
