wading - carrying two rods - any ideas?

What's this world coming to? I was in the coal mines at 6 working 14 hours a day 6 days a week. I'd smoke a pack of Camels before work just to coat my lungs for protection from the dust. Now you can't even get a decent rod boy. Gotta pay a grown man who calls himself a guide to do it, and he's gonna get pissy if you don't tip him.

Everybody says "Take a kid fishing",  "Teach them how to fish, and to appreciate the great outdoors".

Oh Pfffft!   My dad & grampa never cared about any of that nonsense.....they just wanted someone to row the boat, fetch beers, and help carry stuff.  And if you slacked or complained you got popped upside the head. 

It wasn't until I could outfish them that I got treated halfway decent.

        Man O Man I can hardly wait until my Grand kids get old enough to grunt for me. Right now it would cost me money in broken rods! Well them maybe get them started young and let them tote the poles in aluminum rod tubes ? Better than a guide paying with cash. Just a few M&M's would work. Toss them a few just once and a while,

Al- My advice to you would be to not publicly admit you agree with me. It would only sully your sterling reputation. Yes, it is scary. Then again, a lot of weirdness out in the world today.

 just retie or use a snap . it's not like retieing it's something that's done as a matter of course during a wade .

Sorry I had kind of forgotten about this. I am attempting to post some pictures of my outfit.  The last picture is the type of holder I used with the chest pack, which I could not find, the difference is mine was a single rod holder not the three rod pictured.  I do not fault anyone that does not want to carry two rods but assume that you only carry one when you are in a boat as well.

OK I know they are sideways but do not know how to fix it.  For me getting them posted was a major effort.

I have seen a belt setup they use on the gulf coast while wading that is a belt system that holds a rod in a holder. I could see it fitting your needs but couldn't you use a snap and that would make changing lures faster.
